Greetings Intrepid and on to this weeks report!!

CMDR's be sure this reaches all of your pilots!!

Another week has come and gone, but my concerns about current levels of activity are rising. I'm open to suggestions from the pilots on what types of competitions you'd like to have ran, but in the meantime I want to encourage all of you to participate in what comps are available. The fact that many pilots aren't even participating in comps, and yet don't even do a marginal amount of flying either tends to give the WC and I reason to question why you're even serving on this Ship. In other words, I had better start seeing every pilot put forth some activity each week from now on or you could find yourself booted off. :P

Congrats to LC Gidda on winning Week 1 of the Back To Basics Comp! CM Aragorn finished with a great 2nd place submission as well! However, all total only 6 pilots participated, out of a Wing of 46. Not a very good percentage, so I am sure you'll make an effort to participate in Week 2's Training Exercise. ;)

This week we will be flying the XvT Training Mission "Proton Torpedoes", and again it must be flown on Hard. All pilot files must be submitted by 3/22/03 to be counted! Good luck to everyone this week!! :)

Remember, the FCHG and CR Race Comps are still underway. Anyone can still win this month, so put forth your best activity and shoot to win one of those shiny new Iron Stars at the end of the month!!

A final reminder to everyone that the Fiction for a Battle Competition ends on 3/22, which is this coming Saturday. No submissions yet, but I do have one pilot that has guaranteed to submit something before the deadline! Don't miss your chance to win a shiny new medal, but together a plotline/story for the Intrepid!!

Well, the Int vs. Imm MP Marathon turned out to be a total bust. Only two matches were reported, and both involved the same Int pilot. Needless to say I was very disappointed as COM of the Intrepid that more matches weren't flown, but as it stands the final results have the Int and Imm at a standoff because both sides won one match a piece. I'm hoping to work out another comp with the Immortal in the near future, and I trust there will be better participation from the Intrepid in this one? :P

You might have noticed that some of the EH's MP comps have been missing some Permanent/Alternate Hosts recently. Apparently an epidemic spread through the COO's Office and Hosts were cleaned out that were making the grade. I've recently been approached about hosting what is currently known as the Thursday Night Training Comp, and have said that I would be happy to provide my services as Host. Although I did make one request, that it be renamed to the Intrepid Melee Night. As soon as I have more info about this I'll send it out, but you can be sure I'll be counting how many Int pilots arrive for this comp once I become the Host. :P

This past week MAJ Archon transferred over to the Grey Wolf to begin his new position as WC of Wing XIII. Congrats to Archon on being selected for the position. Unfortunately this means I'll have to modify some of our battle plans since Archon was involved in creating many of them. hehehe

CPT Gistenjunge also left the Intrepid this past week to join Tau Squadron! Yes, Gist joined the ranks of an Elite Squadron, honestly I don't know what he was thinking. LOL Seriously though, I wish Gist well, he has been a great pilot and friend here on the Intrepid to so many people!

New CMDR's have been selected to replace Archon and Gistenjunge, but for some reason they are still awaiting approval by the FO. In any case I had planned to announce who they were in this report, but that will have to wait until the FO finally processes the WCs request. Sorry. :(

MSE medals have been processed. Unfortunately two Silver Star that the WC and I were seeking to award have been denied so I will be resubmitting those as Bronze Star requests instead. All other medals should arrive just as soon as OPS approves them. The WCs MWE was much shorter than last months, by nearly 10 pages. CMDRs, lets be sure we're logging all pilot activity. Pilots, make sure you're reporting every bit of activity you have each week, this is your responsibility to ensure your CMDRs have the correct info. The more info we have the more medals we can award!

No new pilots this week, but I am informed that there are still more in the works. Keep up the great recruiting effort and lets get this Ship filled with cocky pilots! hehehe

More comps have been announced, be sure and check out the Competitions section below for more details!
