SOVEREIGN AND FLEET NEWS AND NOTES
-- Sovereign Squadron League round 5 is in progress. Fly TIE-Free 220, XvT-Free 140, and XWA-Free 100 and submit them by May 23. Leaders after round 4: Omega (TIE), Diamondback (XvT), Vampire (XWA).
I've noticed that the wheels seem to be coming off among some CMDRs and WCs in ensuring that results are collected thoroughly and submitted on time. LC Todbringer and the other coordinators can only do so much with the results -- if they don't receive them from the responsible parties (CMDRs, backed up by WCs), the pilots will not receive recognition and their units will fall behind in the competition, unjustly.
-- Operation Outrageous Fortune, two space battles are imminent as soon as the parties can get it on. The first battpotential le time is tonight, the next, Friday at noon eastern.
-- Imperial Storm IV planning is under way. The tentative title of the TIE Corps wargame is "Sink the Sov." Preliminary rules have the Sov with a slightly larger force than the other individual BGs, but far less strength than the BGs collectively. Those BGs, to win, must track down and destroy the Sovereign. We will make sure that does not happen >:). First order of business: COL Jon Doyle and LC Freelancer have been appointed tactical captains to assist me (task force admiral) during the wargame. We will keep the ship posted as this advances. Important note: All XWA, TIE and XvT pilots will have many chances to contribute to the Sov's victory!
