Fleet News
-To quell the uprising in the workforce of the fleet, FM's can now be promoted to the rank of CM, and not limited to LCM. Of course, they must put in at least 3 months hard, back-breaking work in this position as a LCM before they can be promoted, but after that, I'm sure that someone will give them a CM's badge.
-MAJ Mayk, the Wing IV WC, has been promoted to the rank of LC. Tonight, he's holding a promotion party (i.e. reason to get drunk) onboard his ship. I'm not sure which ship it is, but it's bound to be one of our big ones.
-New missions from the Tactical Office. Mostly TIE stuff, but you can still fly them.
-Speaking of the TAC, he's needs more monkey slaves to correct some of those god-awful battles that get sent to him. If you are interested in slaving away, correcting someone else's screwups, be sure to contact him and let him know.

News That You Can Use
-All medals for last months MSE has been requested. Those should be approved soon.
-Once again, our activity is improving. So far over 120 missions flown. Keep them rolling in!
-Congrats to Vampire Squadron as they once again placed 1st in the last round of SSL. (They're top 4 pilots individually scored more than most squadrons combined.)
-As previously stated, FM's can now be promoted to the rank of CM, as long as they have spent at least 3 months in that position. Until the database is updated to reflect this, CMDR's should send any of these requests to GN Badlands and 'cc myself so we can forward it to the FO.

If you want to strip while in your fighter, then by all means do so. Just keep in mind these two pieces of advice....1.) Be careful not to break your joystick, and 2.) it's COLD in space.

Competition Corner
-GN Badlands has started a Wing Comp. The first stage is a run-on on our MB's. It can be found at http://www.ehnet.org/mb/viewtopic.php?t=6055.
-Our wargame comp will be starting next Monday. The final rules are attached here. If anyone sees anything they think should be changed, speak up now. CMDRS will be assembling their fleets this week so get with them to add your input.
