Sunday, about tea-time

VA SickMan was sitting in a deckchair with a dry martini (Shaken, but not spilt about the place) in one hand and a pad with this very report on in the other. The Vanguard had stopped for a day at a pleasure planet for a bit of R n R, a thankyou to the pilot for all the hard work they've done over the past few months.

"Grand idea this have a stop-over and a break from the norm" WC Drax Remlinger said

"Yeah well, i knew we were passing this place and i know the guy that own this place, he's owes me a credit or 2 after a card game " Sicky said with a smug grin on his face.

"Well the pilots seem to be enjoying themselves, back to the grind tomorrow though Sicky"

"Yeah, nearly at 60 member too, we are getting there Draxy"

Six bikini clad women approached, one spoke " Vice Admiral, it's time for your hourly bath and massage, if you'd like to follow us"

"oh well, back to work Draxy, cya later"

"have fun" Drax said with a smirk and got back to watching the womens beach volleyball game near-by while drinking a ice cold beer :)




SickMan's words of the week = A week without seeing LoC's awarded and BSF's processed is like a week without beer!

Captivating Colloquia

The Training Office (under the sponsorship of the Imperial University) is launching a series of IRC colloquia – individual ‘online conferences’ that serve to educate and discuss matters of importance to our role as members of the Emperor’s Hammer and the internet community. These events will take the form of a presentation from professionals followed by directed questions and open discussion. I am calling for proposals for these events to focus upon (such topics can span Star Wars canon to matters of real-life relevance; literature, popular culture, music – the possibilities are essentially endless). The Pilot gaining the most FCHG Points during the month of March will receive an IS-SW and the runner up will get a IS-BW.

VANGUARD JOUST
Our Mp competition with points being awarded as follows:
10 POINTS---DFC
05 POINTS---PER WIN
03 POINTS---PER LOSS
01 POINTS---EACH COMPETITION PARTICIPATED IN
The one with the most points receives an IS-SW and the runner up gets an IS-BW.

RECRUITMENT COMPEITION
The Pilot assisting and aiding in the placement of the most recruits(cadets or reservists) during the month will receive an IS-SR and the runner up will receive an IS-BR.

FICITON COMPEITION
This will be our fiction competition. Write as many peices of fiction you care to and submit them to me. I will compile them all at the end of the month and submit them for the NL. Myself and COM Sickman will judge the winners. The winner receives an IS-SR and the runner up an IS-BR.

FLIGHT WARS
This competition has been approved. Round three starts Monday and has two weeks left. All members of the winning flight will receive IS-SW's and the runner ups will receive IS-BW.
