ISDII Intrepid Report # 3 (2003-06-13)

This report was submitted by RA Frodo March

Rear Admiral Frodo March reporting for the ISD-II Intrepid on 06/13/03 #3

Commodore’s Opening Words

Good evening crew of the ISD-II Intrepid! Today marks the day of the 3rd ever Frodo made Ship report.  Yes, it is about 36 hours too early, don’t worry Phantom, your not late:P  I’m writing the report on this date since my exams start on Tuesday, and end on Thursday, so I’ll be on Semi Leave from the second you receive this report, until Tuesday, were I will be able to be active after the daily exam…since I finish early and have nothing to do…

Anyways, on to the report! Today was supposed to mark the end of my Ship /Nickname/Motto/banner comp, but there seemed to have been a wittle accident, nobody submitted any banners >:/ Remember, you don’t have to add the nickname and motto to the banner until after the comp, just in case another one gets chosen, so keep a version of the banner without any motto/nicknames.  Yes, that does mean that you have until FRIDAY THE 20th to complete these tasks, I suggest everybody at least give it a shot…I mean…its not hard! Just think! Remember, my favorite Color is BRIGHT GREEN, and I like words like: Destruction, Defenestration, and things that rhyme with that.

This week we welcomed LT TK-7195 to Viper Squadron! Welcome aboard!

The recruitment plan is still going on according to plan, I will contact the ppls involved wit this plan soon about things that you know what I’m talking about.  If anybody does have questions about this secret plan, and would like to help, you can always contact me in person, but I’m not going to describe it in places were other flags can have a peek;)

One more thing in this section, I would like to see some more MP activity from you thugs/playaz, I’m not seeing too many LoC notices in my inbox, much less DFCs.  Remember, we are the flagship of the ASF, and the ASF is the MP headquarters of the Emperor’s Hammer, so Its only natural that we rock at it, no? If you ever see me online and you feel like MP, just tell me and I’ll give you a run for your money, and I’m sure your CMDRs and WC would aswell. So hop into your MP devices! ;)

Captivating Colloquia

12:22 - AD Keldorn [gmf@kweeky.net]
The Training Office (under the sponsorship of the Imperial University) is launching a series of IRC colloquia – individual ‘online conferences’ that serve to educate and discuss matters of importance to our role as members of the Emperor’s Hammer and the internet community. These events will take the form of a presentation from professionals followed by directed questions and open discussion. I am calling for proposals for these events to focus upon (such topics can span Star Wars canon to matters of real-life relevance; literature, popular culture, music – the possibilities are essentially endless). Any such ideas or comments should be sent to me at
to@emperorshammer.org.

Hints and Tips from the Short COM thug

Well ppls, It seems like I have filled in the void for this section that I was looking for, In this section from now on, I will give you all interesting facts/hints that I think could help you in your future in the EH, or the Intrepid;)

Hints of the Week: First up, there’s always a way to get in contact wit your CMDR when your PC is down, either e-mail from a friends house, or your local library, even at school! If your CMDRs e-mail is acting funky wit you, just e-mail the WC! Always bookmark your superiors;)

Second, If you WANT to leave the EH, don’t go AWOL, tell your CMDR and it will be a lot smoother, and maybe you could return someday, or he could even convince you to stay, so, don’t go AWOL unless you can help it, heck, there’s no reason anyone should ever go AWOL unless he gets stranded on an Island…or just dies…

Competitions

SSL: Fly round 7 missions
Wing XIV Top Gun ladders:
http://www.emperorshammer.net/competitions/details.asp?ID=485
Wing XIV FCHG/CR races: (The TO has allowed the Intrepid to have ONE last CR race!!)
ISD Intrepid design a new nickname/motto/banner:
http://www.emperorshammer.net/competitions/details.asp?ID=592
As you can see, you guys have plenty to do! Hop to work!

Finishing words

A wise man once said; there’s always something to do to improve! I agree, if you think that your activity is awesome, and that your not challenged enough, and that you participate at all comps and give all that you got and still have some leftovers, I suggest you contact your CMDR or your Flags and ask for help, its always good for your ATR and it looks good when its medal time;)

And once again, I conclude by saying: RECRUIT, FLY, PARTICIPATE!!!!!  It’s the R.F.P, and it rhymes wit the word Key, and that’s cause it’s the key to success in this ship, Good luck and have fun doing it!:)
