Commodore’s Opening Words

Greetings mighty crew of the ISD-II Intrepid! This week was full of events, and medals, and new pilots as usual! Another week for the books.
 
First of all, I’ve counted ALL the SP missions everybody’s flown in the ship for July and we’re already passed the 1000 missions flown mark! Good job! In 25 days, we have flown approximately 1223 missions! This is truly a good performance, but there is always room for improvement, some pilots are flying hundreds others didn’t even fly any : ( However, our MP participation is quite lax, and as you can see through the mailing that’s been going on, you should all FLY MORE MP!!!  Its fun, you get a shiny medal for everything you won, and its easy, not to mention that I WILL LOVE YOU FOR IT!!…well I certainly would consider extra…je-sais-quois for MP pilots instead of sp.

Saw that!? That’s a WoW, I want people to try and participate at those as much as possible, even I will get a BSC account as soon as I can.  We are part of the ASF, the MP Capital of the Emperor’s Hammer.  Whats more, we’re its FLAGSHIP! Therefore, we should be the MP place to be, I want you guys to fly MP in #ehcoc and at BSC as much as you can.
 
This week we saw a promotion, congradulations to Lieutenant Colonel Phantom! She has definetly earned this promotion and will do well at the rank as she did with the previous one, keep it up Phantom;)
 
Oh, and you might be wondering “Why the hell am I getting a ship report on a Friday!?!?” Well, the answer to that is simple, I will be going on leave for 21 days starting Saturday (yes tomorrow) Phantom and I have been preparing for a little while and you guys will barely notice I’m gone, except for the lack of green…poor souls:P I shall be back to full active duty on August 17th.  I will come online from time to time but only for short e-mail checks.
 
CMDRs, get your CoL recs to the Wing Commander…NOW.  Oh, and to the rest of ya’s, that means that CoLs will be awarded soon! Hurrah! Go loyalty! Intrepid loyalty! Woo! :-P

Commodore Promotions

I'm very pleased today to be able to honour two of the TIE Corps' best Flag Officers. Rear Admiral Indaro Gallia, COM of the ISD Colossus, and Rear Admiral Jahan Kalar, COM of the ISD Relentless, are both hereby promoted to the rank of Vice Admiral in recognition of the untiring support they give to their Ships and to the TIE Corps.
Myself and AD Krax hold both of these Officers in high regard and these promotions are very much deserved. Congrats guys!

Wing XIII WC

The position of Wing XIII WC on the ISD Grey Wolf is now open to applications. Those wishing to apply should be able to meet the following requirements:
At least FOUR months experience as a Squadron Commander in the TIE Corps
No HCI convictions in the past 12 months
Familiarity with the online and offline aspects of X-Wing vs TIE Fighter
Be able to handle large amounts of email and admin within a short amount of time in an efficient manner
Be able to organise competitions / activity within the Wing and motivate those under your command
Be able to work in a mature attitude with all levels of command in the TIE Corps
Demonstrate that you have the drive and motivation to take command of a Wing and ensure it's growth and success
You may include up to 2 references from current or former superiors (get their permission first!). Applications should be sent to Admiral Darksaber and Vice Admiral Khadgar with the subject "Wing XIII WC" by Sunday 27th July.

Commendation of Loyalty Recommendations

The bi-annual awarding of the Commendation of Loyalty to members of the Emperor's Hammer who have displayed tremendous dedication to the Fleet is fast approaching. Details for the Tiecorps are listed below, refer to the Operations Office Report for other EH subgroups.
Each Squadron Commander can make recommendations to their Wing Commander who will choose three (3) members of their wing to receive the CoL and forward the names to their Commodore and Battlegroup Commodore. Each BGCOM may recommend up to three (3) more awards for their flag officers. The Battlegroup Commander will collate the awards for their battlegroup and forward the names (with pin numbers) to the Flight Officer (fo@emperorshammer.org) and myself (ops@emperorshammer.org).
Additionally, the Commander of each Elite Squadron may recommend one (1) of their members to receive the CoL. This should be sent directly to the Flight Officer and myself. Therefore the FO and I should only be receiving CoL recommendations from the Battlegroup Commanders and the Commanders of the Elite Squadrons.
All recommendations must be submitted to myself (and the Flight Officer) by the 19th of August. Late submissions will be rejected. If there are any questions, please ask and don't leave it until the last minute.

-The “Anna Darksaber” competition is in place! You can write fiction, do GFX or build battles for this competition! Everything you do for this comp will also count for the Intrepid Top Squad activity comp if you send it to Phantom and I aswell.

Well, what can I say, I’m kinda leaving for a few weeks so I feel bad for now…Drinks are on my credit card t’ill I return! Everyone have a good effort for the comp, this kind of activity is great and as you can see a lot of awards came from it.
 
Finishing up, I want you all to fly at least one match of MP this week, at least try to do some MP, its fun.  And any kind of MP counts for the wing ladder.  You can even race! So go out there and have some MP fun!
