Rear Admiral Hawk Vanguard Commodore Report One

Ok I know this COM reports a mess but im knocking a quick one up becuase you lot keep bugging me about it even if this is my first day but i guess it show you're activitie :P
Ok you all know who iam and if not you better find out, If you have any BSF CMDRs that need to be done pass them on and il do then in a day, Give me a week to settle in lads and ladys and il tell what my plans are :)

Far in a futures eye





35 years had past since the Empire had fallen into chaos and from the chaos a new Warlords fleet had arising but only to face an even greater threat than the New Republic and with the New Republic it would face it greatest challenge yet the Yuuzhan Vong.



Once powerful battle groups of the Emperor’s Hammer TieCorps had been reduce to a few ISD carrier groups the enduring battles against the New Republic had worn away at the fleet but the new engagements against the Yuuzhan Vong had cost many lives and ships and not to mention the once great Sovereign and its Commanding officer Grand Admiral Ronin.

The Darkness folded around the small task force as it edge its way back to the Allie space, at the head of the force the ISD Vanguard creep along on only one of its functioning engines.

“For the love of the force Captain Ender I though you said you could get me my main engine bank firing again, I didn’t call you back up from civilian street to fail me Captain”, said Vice Admiral Hawk flexing his hinges in his arm.

Turning his face away from the Admiral, Ender looked towards a view port, “I didn’t ask to be reenlisted Admiral and I only did it so I could fight the Yuuzhan Vong, so give me more men and il have you’re damm engines online”.

Stoking his chin Hawk gave a brief smile, “Im sorry Ender il take some men off one of our escorts to help you, Its just with all the loses we are taking and having to work along side the rebels it makes me just want to quit”.

“No Problem Admiral I know how you feel and iv been meaning to ask how’s little Corran now”, said Captain Ender slapping the Admiral on the shoulder.

“To tell you truth I don’t know Ender since the Yuuzhan Vong declared they would halt their advance if all Jedi were handed over I lost contact with him but im sure he safe with his mother and rest of Jedi”, Admiral Hawk said staring towards a worried looking Sensor Officer.

Watching the ships blip blink in and out the Sensor Officer wiped the sweat from his brow “Admiral I think we got a Vong scout ship shadowing us Sir, im not sure for how long we had her on our tail Sir but it looks like trouble”.

Standing above the crew pit Hawk pull his arms behind his back and stare out towards the view screen, from his left General Strahd pull along side him, “Should we launch fighters to engage Admiral”.

“No No General we shall not, I think it would be wise to send a message to the nearest New Republic base saying we are now in range for our escort home and ready all fighters just in case including our escorts” said Admiral Hawk walking along the bridge pit.

“Yes Admiral but we should launch a extra flight Sir,” said General Strahd reaching for his com link.

Stopping in front of the view screen Admiral Hawk lets his eyes pan across the space ahead of him, “No General I don’t want to provoke a Vong attack, just do as I say” Turning his head back to the command pit Hawk nodded to a Communication Officer, “Get my a link to the Frigate Fandango make it tide beam so our visitor cant hear” said Admiral Hawk.





Swinging his blade in short parry to protect his stomach Corran leaped back from the glowing blade beening thrust toward him, Letting the force flicker inside him Corran dropped to one knee and swept his blade across the floor bring his attacker falling to heap along side him, “Hah I bet that hurt” Corran said placing his mock light sabre down.

“Jedi feels no pain Corran that what Master Skywalker says” Valin said lifting him self off the floor.

Grabbing his cloak from the floor Corran gave a brief smile, “that’s not what you’re father would say Valin is it” said Corran.

“What that suppose to mean Corran” Valin said bushing the dusk off his jump suit.

Giving Valin a punch on the arm Corran let out a giggle, “Only meant well you’re dad was in Rogue Squadron and im sure he felt some pain now and then just like my dad” said Corran.

“I guess he has I hope Master Skywalker lets us help out with his great river soon, I cant wait to get out there and give the Vong a taste of Horn” said Valin heading towards the cargo bay door.

“Wow that a step away from the Jedi light isn’t it Valin and I though I was full of angered against them” Corran called trying catch Valin up.

Participants: Everybody on the Vanguard.
Description: The Vanguard Commodore will add a piece of a story to his ship reports, together with a XWA Mission based on that part of the story. Participating Pilots in the wing send in their pilot files of that mission to their CMDRs - including a short written fictional account of their experiences in the mission. The CMDRs check the pilot files, forward the scores, the reports and their own files to the Commodore and Wing Commander and include the best fiction of their squadron in their weekly reports. The best fiction in the wing will be taken up in the wing report, arranged into "propaganda"-type news coverage: The Vanguard Newspaper. Medals are awarded to the best flying and to the best writing but also to outstanding activity like helping to run this competition.
Flying and fiction both influence the story, and so the missions: the Pilots' performance in one mission has consequences on the next mission they'll fly. Making this a true Interactive Battle with a flexible story line, centered around the ISD Vanguard and it's Squadrons.

Read the fiction at the end, that'll tell you what the mission is about (It's based in the Vanguard's past... around January to April). Then fly the mission just like you always fly missions, only this time write a report afterwards on what you experienced. This report has to be fictional, as for example your INPR. You are a pilot in the Imperial Navy, report what you just went through. It can be simple, it doesn't need to be great literature or anything... but it can be if you want it to. Zip it up with your pilot file and send it to you normally send your pilotfiles to - presto.

There will be a IS Silver for both the best score and the best the best fiction (as judged by MAJ. Strahd and myself), IS Bronzes for the runners up in both categories
