The next will be a lot easier for me then I ever thought, but this mail is to announce my resignation as Commodore of the Vanguard.

As Commodore of the Vanguard and as Wing Commander of Wing XV I've seen some excellent things happen. When I received command of Wing XV I received a Wing of about 30 pilots, most of which were AWOL or fully inactive. Since then we've re-opened all squadrons, passed 60 active pilots aboard and earned TCCOM's Own. Activity went as a spear, but not only in just flying, also in more creative work like the Vanguard Newspaper, Ekim's Vanguard TV Plays, a lot of fiction and mission creation. And most of all: we created a good, friendly and united crew together. All of this I wouldnt have been able to do or witness as a T/B Pilot.

But in the same period I've also had to close 4 squadrons, assign 3 new WC's, countless of CMDRs, was confronted with 3 major cheating cases (luckily, only 1 of those actually took place on the vanguard), was forced to make several CMDRs resign and another few HCI cases. This is a lot of work, and stress and not fun at all - even though it partly made the good stuff able to happen. At times I did wish I'd just stayed a T/B Pilot.

And lately I've been more and more involved with political stuff outside the Vanguard, perhaps bored with what I was doing. I stopped doing things I used to like, like uniform creation and websites (the vanguard site is way outdated now, shame on me...) and started setting up insane projects while all the while becoming more hostile in my approach. I think I've had it, and I think I just would like to be a T/B Pilot again before I definitely crack up or something - like I've seen one of my own commanding officers once do.

Hence I here by like to accept CMDR Blair Vallyn's offer of becoming his Flight II Leader and I'd like to ask if I could get a demotion to Captain - the rank I would've been if I had stayed faithful to my first thought when I joined the Emperor's Hammer: "As long as it doesn't bring too much responsibilities and it keeps me in my Bomber."

I'll be flying missions and creating them, doing some OPTing and such - I'll be fine. And I'm sure you will be too - within the Vanguard Crew there a lots of good COM candidates and across the ASF even more. Thank you all for the great times I had as your commodore I now would like to get back to flying but you definitely made me proud at all times.
