WING XX REPORT "#21"

Current Wing News and Events

  • Greeting everyone, well this week marks another major turn for me in my TC career. With the resignation of VA Firefox from the Avenger Task Force GB COM it sparked a chain of command promotions. As you already know VA Tiger was appointed the new ATF BGCOM, agian many congrats to him. Just yesterday I was appointed the new Commodore of the ISD Subjugator. I am very honored to have accepted this promotion and I have done this only because of the ISD Subjugator. I would have never accepted any other COM position other than on this ship. One month ago I had already reached my primary goal in the TIE Corps when I received the rank of General. My plans were to run Wing XX for a long while then retire as a General but with the recent events things have changed. So officaially I will be signing off as Wing XX Commander and my replacement will be processed very shortly. There is no other wing quite like XX. You all are so very dedicated and hard working its no wonder we earned the TCCOM only 3 months after opening with only 4 active squadrons. We will still rise stronger and stronger. Eventhough I am not WC I am still part of the ship as a whole and will still strive and maintain our excellence within this Fleet. The new WC will take my place and even take the Wing further into dominance and we will be here to support him. I will be sending a formal Commodore address to the Wing foolowing this Wing report. Also we will still finish out the current Wing comps and medals will still be awarded to the winners so keep those submissions rolling in.
  • ON WITH SOME WEEKLY NEWS - A big congrats to LCM Ace for coming in 2nd place on the EH JK Ladder! He got a nice shiny new IS-GR for that :) COL EmpReach was transfered to the reserves, LT Karrad transferred to Chaos Squadron.
  • An outstanding number of BSF's rolled in over the past week, you can see that stats for those below :)
  • Two new members this month, a big welcome to SL TK-8056 and LT Ric Gravin who returned from the reserves to be with us :)
  • The Squadron websites are looking awesome, I'm pleased to see that they are being updated when needed and functioning good, keep up the great work.

Description:
- All pilots are to fly the assigned battles below. 1 battle per week. The goal is to get the lowest possible score in each battle. On the end of the 4th week each of pilots battles will be totalled and the pilot with the overall lowest score wins a IS-SW and the second lowest score receives a IS-BW. send your pilot files to too MAJ Grail SoulChaser and LCM Rracall (RM).

The Battle of Endor - "TIE Corps Version"

Description:
We all know the horrible ending to Return of the Jedi but if you sit and think if the Emperor's Hammer TIE Corps was involved what might the outcome be? I would like you too write your own version of the Battle of Endor with the TIE Corps Fleet. I don't expect you to write in detail of all 4 Battlegroups specific actions but you must involve the Avenger Task Force. I would like this story to be at least 1 page long and with decent Grammar. I want you too brainstorm on this, change what ever original ROTJ details you want from individual dogfights to the Death Star tunnel run and the events after. Try to emphasize on the dogfights involing you. Have fun with this!
