-- MWE reports, still missing a few ... **Dude the Tusken raider, standing at Proton's side, growls menacingly at the WCs. Leroy the jawa points his blaster at their feet.**

-- CoLs. I've submitted the Sov's list for the EH Anniversary Awards. I did my own research on Wing I nominees because the WC did not submit a recommendation to me as ordered. Now it will be up to the Operations Office; no word on when the medals will be awarded.

-- The Rat Pack vs. Wing I's CMDRs Jan. 1-15. We're flying IW TIE Battle 21. Pack rats, reminder, the top six tfrs will count on each side -- everyone please fly if at all possible. My participation is questionable right now because of joystick problems; I hope to get this fixed and fly the battle before the deadline.

-- Training Office competition coming soon this month: Prelude to Andevia:
From HA Astatine: Prelude to Andevia is an EH-wide competition, scheduled to start before January 7th. The sharper ones in the EH may have noticed the promotional banner that sat on the Training Office domain for a while (still available at http://www.imperialacademy.org/common_data/images/andevia.jpg). Now the TIE Corps boards and the same area of the Training Office site feature a Flash-based trailer for the competition.
Andevia is a world on the Outer Rim. From time to time, the Emperor's Hammer sends out scouting forces to investigate worlds, either for strategic or economic exploitation. Expeditionary Force Alpha-Nine-Four (EF-A94) is one of these scouting forces, assigned to Andevia. After a series of strange events, the scout team have ceased communicating.
The competition events deal with the leading up to preparing a response to these events as well as what events might have possibly taken place. The competition will feature a wide range of events, including five fiction events and three ladders.

FORCE STRENGTH

-- Our numbers have dipped below 200. This is a combination of retirements, good AWOL management throughout the wings -- and a lack of effective recruitment by all concerned. The process of gaining new personnel might not be perfect, but all pilots should be doing whatever they can to get new bodies onto the flagship!

Wing III [34]
