-- Announcing the Sovereign banner design contest, Jan. 1-31.
Two categories:
Splash banner: 640x480 maximum size, gif or jpg format.
Link banner: 475x75 maximum size, gif or jpg format.
Awards: IS-GR, SR, BR in each category.
These banners are to be used on the Sovereign Web site and other sites as graphic representations of the SSSD Sovereign. All suitable entries will be posted in the Sovereign Art Gallery.

-- Wing competitions. Some of the wings are running great competitions but there seems to be a lack of activity in others. Same for squadron comps -- there are some great squadron events under way, but some squadrons seem to be just counting their credits and waiting for happy hour. Consider this a challenge for all WCs and CMDRs to launch some good competitions for the new year. For instance, when was the last time one of our wings or squadrons challenged a Battlegroups unit to combat? One Sov wing vs. another? Etc.

-- MSEs, MWEs. CMDRs and WCs, get these in asap at the first of January.

-- CoLs. Each wing may nominate as many as four pilots for the Commendation of Loyalty. WCs, get your recs to me by Jan. 5.
