Fleet News

SSS results:
The points for the participation phase of the Supreme Squadron Series have been added up and the top 3 squads are as follows:
Ranger - 5 points
Dagger - 4 points
Inferno - 4 points
Right now the race is very tight and the full results can be found here. Keep in mind these do not include the scores for fiction quality yet. If you don't see your squad there and you'd like to participate e-mail Lieutenant Colonel Ace Pilot. --- great work Ranger Squadron! All our squads represented well.. except Demon (didn't get report in on time). We already proved to the Battlegroups that we are the best pilots, now it is time to show the entire TC what power our squads are made of!
TieCorps Fleet Systems Engineer, SA Kawolski, has been busy working with the database and has added some nice new features for the Commanders and up to recommend promotions directly from the admin. menu. Very convenient. As well, battle information now includes the date the battle/mission was created, and Personnel record include the exact dates of your last promotion... keep your eyes out for more developments on the TC.org site.

Top Priority right now is Tribe Wars II Everyone should be well acquainted with their tribes by now and getting their final submissions together, due to me on Oct. 9th!CAPT Arso has agreed to help me test all the missions to decide which is the best, thanks Arso :) Then get ready for the flying phase, start date will obviously depend on how fast we can get through all the missions and decide on the winner.
Octoberfest Challenge -- "Step Lively pilots, this isn't a pleasure yacht!" October is to be a month of productivity and growth, and the ship is hereby ordered to fly all 9 TC-XWA battles by the end of the month! This is a test of your loyalty to the ship and your piloting abilities. Now hop to it! -- keep track of any tips that you find useful and I will add them to my XWA tips section on the Immortal site (coming soon)
Welcomes to our newest batch of pilots, LT Treschler Wolf and CPT Ramos. Conversely, we say a sad goodbye to COL Shadow as RL takes up his time and forces him to transfer to the Reserves.. soon we will have a powerful little squadron of Immortalers in the Reserves.. Marc, Dras Hempor, Mycroft, Shadow.. too bad they don't do anything there :P

Completing an IWATS Course -- 4 points
Adding tips to the XWA tip section -- 1 point
As far as the merit page goes, I will be updating the points this weekend, pilots are reminded to email me if they want to cash in their points adrenaline@stardestroyer.org . Congratulations to LCM Mark Stephenson who just cashed in his points for 2 shiny new Bronze Stars.. all that flying and participation does pay off in the end.. Great work Mark :)

Communications

Unofficial, as of yet, we will be holding weekly meetings now on irc #isd_immortal Fridays at 2100GMT (4pm EST, 1pm PST). This shall serve as a forum for commanders to make announcements about their squadron activity. We may even start up a little trivia action if enough people show up... (next week).. * i would like to point out that I have no trivia abilities.. so if anyone is interested in being the "Games Master", email me right away :P
