Well, March has flown by rather quickly here, with many good things to show for it. Demon has seen a change in Commanders and some great new pilots, Phantom has been the home to quite a few new SLs, Ghost has been finely tuned to only 4 pilots, Ranger continues to dominate XWA League and Falcon shows a strong presence in all comps continuing its 3/3 winning streak in external comps. Even the WC has submitted 20 bsfs this month! proving this to be one of our most active and productive month in quite a while ;)

Transfers/Roster changes

Welcome to the following pilots that have arrived this month, COL Blade/Demon, LT Kadath/Demon and LT Jari/Phantom.

COL Dras has stepped down as Demon CMDR to be a FM/COL ! Congrats to CM Roth who has replaced him, I am confident he will keep Demon rockin! COL Marc is the new Flight Leader of Flight 2. Flight 3 is still in need of a FL, contact CM Roth if interested.

Promotions were earned by : CM Gord Darkonian/Falcon , LCM Hiram Tolwyn/Falcon, LT Deimos/Phantom, and LT Jari/Phantom.

LCM Aeolus transferred from Ghost to a cozy FL spot in Phantom Squadron.

LCM Broak Vessery/Ghost was AWOLed, as well SL Ashley Katya/Phantom has left the TieCorps

War Room


The Operation :Cantina Run is almost over, with the flying phase wrapping up in only 4 short days. Everyone on board is ordered to fly FREE-XWA 5 - failure to do so will result in being sent to the pits of the Rancor ( Falcon's new mascot). I know that he is normally very friendly with everyone.. but you should see how his temper flies when he hasn't eaten for a couple days :P Beware the Rancor! Fly today! Commanders reports are due to myself and Badlands by March 31st.


Our graphics submissions for the second phase of ECR can be found on the Immortal site Congratulations go to LT Kadath of Demon Squadron, who's excellent BG banner claimed first prize ! Also to CPT Braxton for his great banner that earned him second place. Quality work here by everyone, great job!


FREE-XWA 5 is also due for XWA League, this is the last CR, and Ranger has a pretty solid overall lead after winning 4/5 of the previous rounds! Demon is in a solid second place, will Falcon pull out a great finish and claim 3rd from Beth? http://members.tripod.co.uk/eh_badlands/co2v2/ Reports are due to Badlands by April 1st.

Congratulations to Falcon Squadron for their victory against Mantis Squadron using FREE-XWA 20! With 100% participation, this is Falcons 3rd victory in a row in external comps! CM Gord Darkonian claimed top pilot with a score of 12 890 , and the squad outscored Mantis with an average score of 7920.6 to their 5429.6. Well done Falcon!


Now, you may have heard some rumors around the ship about an upcoming competition with a Rebel Squadron wing, the Chiin'Tal. This comp has been in the planning phase for over 2 months, and am still waiting to hear back from their Commanding Officer, General Jinx Katarn, as to when their crew is ready :P I've been in contact with the Wings XO and he assures me that it should only be a couple weeks.. I sense fear in them....muhahaha >:P Anyways.. CM RogueWing has created a couple of comp-specific missions that we can use for the single player portion, and I will also organize a MP tournament, so it should be a lot of fun.. just waiting for those crazy rebels...

Week of War is on now! All you have to do to take part in this week of Multiplayer madness is sign up for battlestats, go to the zone and fly for the glory of the EH. Last month our ship represented the EH well, finishing in 4th overall... let's do it again this month! All your wins will not only earn you glory, but also some shiny new LoC's ! Congratulations to our ex-WC RA Mell! who has recently taken control of the ISD Colossus! After seeing what great work he did around here, I know he will serve well as the COL Commodore!



Immortal homepage design comp:

I am offering a Iron Star - Silver Ribbon (IS-SR) to the best ISD Immortal/Wing XI page design. This is what I expect from submissions :

1. A simple banner/nav bar that can appear as a header on each page. Use the existing Immortal site as an example of what links should be on the nav bar.
2. One page only , ie. an example of the roster page, or news page, or cantina, etc. I expect to use the same layout throughout the entire site. ( template )
3. Big bonus would be a site with php or asp scripting that allows admin users to login and update news/roster etc.

The winning designer will get more details from me so we can work together to get a new exciting Immortal/Wing XI site together, not to mention a shiny new medal for their uni ;) This contest is in conjunction with the ECR graphics comp, so that the banner can be used for your ECR entry ;)

Immortal weekly meeting : #isd_immortal on irc , every Sunday at 1200PST ( 8pm GMT, 3pm EST) Reports from the COM and CMDR's. Can someone please get some trivia together, and send it to me prior to the meeting for approval, I will try to award a medal for the winner this week :).. try to make it ship related or at least TieCorps/XWA related.
