Commodore’s Opening Words
 
Hi everybody, and welcome to a 13th edition of the ISD-II Intrepid weekly report.  This report will cover everything we saw over the past week and then some.  Whatever that means.  Anyhow, on with the report!
 
You all might have noticed that you have yet to receive your August MSE medals.  This is due to the fact that they were scheduled to be released the 18th of August, and we had nooo Ops.  Ops, being a position that is supposed to be filled in today.  So hand on tight and wait for them.
 
I have yet to receive the MWE for August, so CMDRs and up, get a move on if you want the medals to be awarded soon.
 
Our numbers are now pretty damn low.  Bring them up, its an easy concept: Get out there and recruit anything that can use a joystick.  Recruit anybody in the reserves you see is even remotely close to being active and is just wasting his time in the Pheonix.  Do whatever it takes, as long as its legal, just get some members in your squadrons!!!!!!!

Sovereign League XWA Battle Creation Contest

The SSSD Sovereign Squadron League coordinators are pleased to announce a battle creation competition leading up to the SSL 2004. The Sovereign League XWA Battle Creation Contest runs through 12/31/2003, and is open to all XWA mission creators in the TC.
Entrants must create a four-mission XWA battle, absolutely without patches, for use in the SSSD Sovereign League 2004.
The competition has four monthly rounds; each month, a "best battle" will be selected by the Sovereign League judges. The winner of each round will receive an IS-GR; runner-up, IS-SR; and third place, IS-BR.
The SSL judges desire to use high-quality XWA battles for the SSL 2004. XWA creators will construct one or more four-mission battles (no less or more than four missions); absolutely no patches are to be used with the battles. Top battles will be judged by the SSL staff, then sent off to the TAC office. The TAC has agreed to accelerate testing and confirmation of the winning battles so they will be available in the compendium in time for the start of the SSL 2004 in January. Medals awarded for this contest will be separate from any TAC-awarded mission creation awards.

Another fast paced report for all of you.  I’m sure you had fun reading it as I had fun typing it up in less then 20 minutes.  Not because there’s not a lot in it but more because I type fast…I think.  Anyway, make sure you get some IRC time so you can see the Frothymeister in action!!
