Commodore’s Opening Words
Hello everyone, have a seat, make yourself Comfy, its time for the 15th edition of the ISD-II Intrepid Commodore’s report! This week was met with a few appointments. Actually quite exiting, and fun for the whole family!
First of all, and most important to us. COL Gidda was appointed as the Wing Commander of Wing XIV. You should all know this :P He already wrote his first report, that you should all read, and stand by for some word arsed Wing Comps soon ;)
CM Ernest Penfold has joined Wing XIV and has been appointed as CMDR of Asp Squadron! Welcome aboard Pen!
August MSE awards! After writing a MWE myself (I know, t’was quite fun) the medals should be awarded soon. In fact by the time you read this they should all be recommended. So hurrah! Medals for people, candy for others.
We also saw the arrival of a new Flight Officer (FO) this week! Congratulations to our ex-ASF BGCOM, Fleet Admiral Cyric! He’s already been hard at work and you can read his first FO report off the database any time that you want. This also means HA Pri left us, but he will remain as an INQ.
Speaking of comps…I have just recommended a new Ship competition as well, nothing big, some fiction…that will eventually end up being a battle! Stand by for more details, but if you have always wanted to see a plotline in a battle, you might as well start writing it, cause it might be used in this comp ;)
I’d like everyone to start flying some more multiplayer. COL Gidda is about to make some MP ladders, and I want to see good participation. Some of our pilots are often Mping, and they are often running out of people to fly against! Multi Player is fun, even I won a Match yesterday against a certain XV WC…If I can win, so can you! Ask anybody to fly, it might just work, taunt them if you have to, give your 110% in these next ladders and make Gidda and I proud of being your flags.
A small reminder on reports, they must ALL be sent to the FOA and FO, CMDR reports, WC reports, COM reports you name it. They all go to the BGCOM aswell and don’t forget your COM and WC. Squadron Commander reports are due on Fridays, Wing reports on Saturdays, Ship reports on Sundays.
Also, CPT Justin has opened applications for Viper flight III FL. If you are interested in being a flight leader, and have activity to show, please mail Captain Justin! CPT Justin is also making a Ship Picture Gallery thingy…Archive! That’s the word, Ship archive! So If you have pictures of yourself, send them to Justin so he can get this made…And then you can see a spiffy picture of moi! ;)

Mission Compendium going offline

Final preparations to release Project Shield require taking mission compendium offline and updating all links. Soon you will start seeing .ehm files instead of .zips. Do not download them, cause you won't be able to instal them. As soon as I will finish update of all link, we will release software and you will play battles again.

Finishing words
Well, this report had a bit more sustenance then usual. I suppose its because I enjoy writing an entire paragraph about anybody who got appointed and there was a quite a few appointments :P One thing you guys can count on is that I won’t leave you any time soon, still plenty of Green to spread.
BTW, always watch out when you send something to the FO, you never know if it will get you removed :-P
Now get out there and win a few LoCs and fly a few battles for the team!
