Wing News

-First of all, here's something new:

Starting next week, the Immortal in implementing a "Pilot Exchange" program. One pilot from the Immortal will be assigned to a squadron aboard the ISD Subjugator. (Nothing on the rosters will change.) The pilot will participate in their ship egroup and squadron egroup as well as thier Message Boards and participate in any comps they have. One pilot from the Subjugator will join one of our squadrons like this as well.

At the end of a 3 week period, both pilots will write up a short report on the differences between the two ships and what they did and did not like. This report will then be sent out to the command staff of both ships. This will enable us to make changes that will lead to everyone having more fun.

I am looking for a volunteer to do this. Although some command experience is welcomed, it is not required. The only requirement I have is you must be active. If you are interested in doing this, email me at com@wingXI.net and let me know. I also need one of the squadron commanders to volunteer to host the Subjugator's pilot.

-ALL the MSE medals have been awarded. They are listed below.

-Due to RL time constraints, CPT Brat Stone has stepped down as Demon CMDR. For all his hard work, he was promoted to the rank of MAJ.

-COL Arso is the new Demon CMDR. Congratulations! We expect to see great things out of them in the future.

-We are well on our way to our goal that for the month of December, we fly at least 1,00o missions as a ship. This will go along great with the comp that Maj Auto has started. (See below for details.) So far over 376 missions have been flown. Although a good start, I want to see more! :)

-We need more recruits. To this effect, I am offering a bounty of an ISM on any NEW recruit you get onto the Immortal. They will have to transfer from the Reserves, or from the Daedalus Platform. (DO NOT SPAM DAEDALUS!) I would suggest hanging out in the Zone in the XWA and XvT rooms....

Ship News

-In retaliation for the damage to one of their fighters by a Ranger Gunboat, someone from Phantom has put bumber stickers on all the Assault Gunboats in Ranger's hangar deck that say "B-Wings RoXx!"

-MAJ Auto has found his Barbie doll collection. He apparently misplaced it while serving tea and cookies to some very frightened cadets he found wandering in the hallway.

Competitions

-Vampire is currently involved in a comp with Aleth Squadron flying XWA, Xvt, and TIE missions. We wish them good luck on this. Kick some Sovereign booty!!

-We have challenged Wing III to a comp. It will be consist of flying a free mission. It begins January 1st and runs for ONE (1) week only. The free mission will be announced the last week of December...be prepared.

-MAJ Auto has started a FCHG Race competition for the month of December. There is one small catch however. Only battles that are flown will be counted, not Free Missions. So, everyone get started and flood your Cmdr's inbox with .plt files! Right now it appears that a certain young Vampire pilot is in the lead....can anyone catch him?

-The Top Gun competition will be continued this month. Basically, the pilot that wins the most MP matches will recieve an IS-SW. The runner-up will recieve an IS-BW. Also, you don't have to wait until official EH comps for this. You can set up your own quick skirmishes while on IRC and I will count those as well, as long as you send me the results of the win.
