MSE medals for November have been handed out! To everyone that received one congratulations! Those of you that didn’t need to remember that activity and participation is rewarded, sitting idle and doing nothing will gain you nothing. :P

The Intrepid is now back just above 50 pilots again. CMDR’s, you need to be working with your pilots to ensure that some recruiting is getting done. Posts messages on the EH Recruiting MB, offer assistance to the Cadets, contact Reserve pilots and tell them that their activity and presence in Wing XIV would be welcomed. Recruit friends from RL and school, and show them what the EH has to offer for fun. Spread the word and let’s help rebuild the TIE Corps! ;)

CMDR’s, you are required to have all MSE’s submitted no later than the 2nd day of the new month! Pilots, if you are selected to fill an A-CMDR position during this time you need to get in immediate contact with the WC and former CMDR to ensure that you have all the necessary data so that you can submit the MSE for your Squadron. Remember, the faster the WC receives the MSE’s the sooner she can submit her final evaluation to me for consideration and approval!

I want to remind all of you about the transfer procedures that currently exist both in the ASF and in the TIE Corps. Before you may be transferred to a new Squadron, Wing or Ship you must ensure that you have not only notified the new CMDR, Flag Officers and the FO, but you must also make sure that you’re present CMDR and Flag Officers have been notified. The FO is cracking down on transfers that are not following these simple guidelines and may decide not to allow the transfer if TIE Corps personnel fail to follow these procedures. The same goes for anyone seeking a CMDR position. You must inform your present CMDR/WC/COM that you are seeking a position even if it is outside your present Wing. They have the right to know if they may be losing a pilot, and they may even be able to assist you in getting the new position as well. Don’t burn any bridges behind you, in the EH you never know when you may need the help of those same people at a later time. :P

Due to the fact that only two pilots bothered to fly and report a match for the Intrepid XvT MP Comp, I am postponing this competition until after the 1st of the year and then we can kick it off again as a quarterly event. I will however be awarding a medal to the two pilots that did participate and submit the screenshots for their match. I must admit that I was dismayed to hear that so many people were having such a hard time simply setting up a time to fly a single match. :P

Another week has come and gone, and activity continues to flow smoothly. I want to remind every Squadron that now is the time to kick it into high gear and run up those Battle Citations! I believe nearly every Squadron has a Cit Officer that the other pilots can contact to help figure out what battles they can fly to earn more citations. If you’re unsure who this officer is then contact your CMDR. ;)

I’d like to welcome MAJ Gidda to Wing XIV! He joins us from Wing I of the SSSD Sovereign, and has been selected to be the new CMDR of Diamondback Squadron! Welcome to the ISD Intrepid and the ASF Gidda!! J

I’d also like to congratulate CM Blade on his recent appointment as the new CMDR of Cobra Squadron! My how my pilots grow up so fast! Hehehe

CPT Malik has joined Krayt Squadron from Wing III! Welcome to the ISD Intrepid Malik! J

MP activity seems to be slumping a bit lately, so I just want to remind everyone that there are plenty of competitions you can take part in each week. I try to keep the list below updated constantly so that you can refer back to this report at any time as a reminder. ;)

I believe our new WC, MAJ Tissaya Argat, is working on some new ideas that she will be communicating out to the CMDR’s very soon. I do ask that the COM be CC on these emails just so that I can be kept informed of what is going on. :P

Our friend and old wing mate, AD Mike, has been appointed as the new Tactical Officer for the EH! As a Flag Officer I look forward to seeing what new ideas AD Mike brings to the TIE Corps! Congrats Mike, you deserve this appointment!! J

We’re experiencing some problems with the server that hosts our Wing/Ship website. CPT Drako has located a new server to host the site and will be transferring everything over to the new server as soon as he has time. Please do not give CPT Drako any grief on this since he has RL matters and other EH responsibilities to attend to as well. Thanks.

I want to remind all CMDR’s that it is a standing order of the Flight Officer that you must remain in your present position for a minimum of six months. Otherwise you could face a demotion to your former rank before you became CMDR, possible refusal to obtain a new CMDR position later, etc. Reliability and stability are what the Flag Officers and the FO are looking for in CMDR’s, so all pilots should keep this in mind when they decide to become a CMDR.

Ø New TAC has been announced! The former CA:TAC, AD Mike, has been appointed as the replacement to HA Striker! Congrats Mike!! J

Ø MAJ Gidda has been appointed as the new CMDR of Diamondback Squadron! Welcome to the Intrepid and Wing XIV Gidda!! J

Ø CM Blade has been appointed as the new CMDR of Cobra Squardon! Congrats Blade!! J

Ø COL Duncan Idaho, the longest serving member of Wing XIV, said goodbye for a time and transferred to the Reserves this week. Duncan has been a friend of mine for a very long time, so it is with considerable sadness that we bid him farewell. Come back as soon as you can Duncan!

Ø MAJ Azazel decided that he no longer wished to be a pilot in Wing XIV and has subsequently transferred to Avenger Squadron! Best of luck to you in our Elite Squadron Az! J

Ø ASF Flags are discussing an idea to take on the Sov BG very soon. Perhaps around the 1st of January in order to ensure that we have maximum participation from our pilots. Ideas and suggestions for the competition are encouraged! J
