Ok, I got back later than expected on Sunday, so now I’m rushing to get out a COM report before the BGCOM and FO come breathing down my neck on the bridge of the Ship. LOL

Thanksgiving went well, so thanks to all of you that have asked me so far on IRC. Although spending all that time in my mini-van with my wife, sis-in-law and all of the kids definitely can try the patience of even the most battle hardened Sith Battlemaster and Commodore. LOL

The Intrepid is down to 50 officers! This is not where we need to be, so we must now ALL double out efforts to find new pilots. Yes, this mean RECRUIT and let’s get our strength back up where it belongs! CMDR’s, you can expect some instructions from the WC and I throughout the week regarding this and other matters that the Intrepid CS need to tackle together. :P

This past week COL Duncan Idaho stepped down as WC after only one month of service in the position. Unfortunately his resigning was out of his hands thanks to the RL German military, so it is my sad duty to inform the ISD-II Intrepid that the pilot who has served her longest will be transferring to the Reserves until such time as he can be back online permanently. Duncan my old friend, we’re going to miss you around the decks of this great Ship! We’ll be here awaiting your return when they decide to finally give you back your phone line.

CPT Tissaya Argat has been selected to be the new Wing Commander for Wing XIV! She has also been promoted to the rank of Major as well! Congrats Tissy!! I’ll be in contact later today to discuss some important details, as well as plans, projects, expectations, etc. :P

Since the Roster isn’t updated at this time I wanted to make sure everyone knew about the other changes currently within Wing XIV and the Intrepid. First, congratulations to CM Phantom on her appointment as CMDR of Krayt Squadron! Finally someone in that position that won’t blind the WC and COM with green ink all the time! Hehehe Second, MAJ Azazel has decided to step-down as CMDR of Diamondback Squadron. The BGCOM and I have tried to dissuade him from this step, but he has decided to try and transfer to Avenger Squadron for the time being. CM Tvan’Oris is being appointed as the new FL in DB to fill the recently vacated position left by CPT Derek Dan, so for the time being CM Tvan’Oris will be the A-CMDR until the WC and I determine whom the new CMDR of DB will be. Also, with MAJ Tissaya Argat’s appointment and elevation to WC, Cobra Squadron is now without a CMDR. For the time being CM Blade is the A-CMDR so all Cobra personnel will go through him regarding any command level matters.

As you can see, a lot of command changes within Wing XIV right now, but this is to be expected whenever changes occur within the Flag Command levels, so bear with us and we’ll have things calm very soon!

Round 2 of the Intrepid XvT MP Double Elimination Tourney will begin later today. Unfortunately I have a mess to clear up from Round 1 because it seems that only a few pilots bothered to do what I originally told them to do, which was mainly to contact their opponent and set a time to meet on IRC and fly the match. :P As a result it appears that there will be a few forfeits because some people just couldn’t follow simple instructions. I had really hoped that this competition would be more fun for everyone than it already has been, but maybe once we’ve gotten through one of these the next one may flow much smoother. In any case, the pilots should expect to receive the new list of matches later today after I’ve updated the scorecard and the competition tree. :P

Ø New TAC should be announced within the next two days! I’ve heard that there are a number of new projects in the works right now in the TAC Office, so expect to see a number of changes and great things in the upcoming week!

Ø COL Duncan Idaho resigned as WC of Wing XIV due to RL military problems. Come back to us as soon as you can Duncan!

Ø MAJ Tissaya Argat is the new WC of Wing XIV! Congrats Tissy!!

Ø Cobra CMDR position is now open. Applications are not currently being accepted until the COM and new WC have had a chance to discuss the position.

Ø MAJ Azazel has decided to resign his position as CMDR of Diamondback Squadron. Again, no applications are being sought yet until the COM and WC have discussed the position.

Ø The TO resigned over the weekend. No word yet on whether applications are being sought by the XO for this position. I will add however that unless you know PHP/MySQL I wouldn’t bother applying since the TO will be required to setup a working site and know how to fully use the TO’s portion of the TC database, which means coding. :P

Ø ASF Website Creation Competition - Vice Admiral Darksaber, BGCOM of the Aggressor Strike Force, is currently hosting a competition open to all the TIE Corps to design a new site for the Battlegroup. The exact details on this competition can be found at http://www.ehnet.org/mb/viewtopic.php?t=2655.

Ø For those of you having problems getting TIE95 to run under Windows XP, help is at hand. LC Sephiroth has created a fix page located at http://www.tcinternet.net/users/s.sanders/Tie95WinXP/index.htm. Enjoy.

Intrepid Competitions

ISD-II Intrepid XvT MP Double Elimination Competition! – The rules are simple. The competition starts at the Squadron level where all registered pilots will compete against their fellow pilots in a series of double elimination rounds until only one remains standing as the Top Gun Squadron Pilot! Then the Top Squadron Pilots, one from each Squadron, will then face off in a series of double elimination rounds until only one remains standing, the ISD Intrepid Top Gun Pilot! Awards for the competition are listed below:

Iron Star w/Silver Wings - ISD Intrepid Top Gun Pilot
Iron Star w/ Bronze Wings – Individual Squadron Top Gun Pilot (6 total medals)

The competition has begun, and the first round of matches is now underway! I’ll keep everyone posted on the results as each round is completed.

Copperhead vs. Cobra Squadron Competition! – Details have not yet been announced, but I have been informed that this competition will begin in the near future!
