Wing News

-For everyone who knows him, MAJ Frodo is the new Wing Commander for Wing V on the Sovereign. He served in Ghost for a while as a Flight Leader when I was Ghost cmdr. We send out condolences to the pilots of Wing V. :p

-The log for this last weeks meeting has been posted on the Immortal Message Board. Everyone keep in mind that weekly meetings are on Saturdays at 1:00 PM EST.

-The database is up and running. Cmdrs may now log in and do BSF's. You will get an error telling you that no mail was sent. That problem is being worked on. Until it's fixed, any roster changes must be emailed to the FO instead of using the form.

-MAJ Auto is running a graphics competition. We are looking for new Banners for the Wing and the Ship. Send all submissions to him at WC@wingXI.net and 'CC your CMDR.

-If anyone has the game Homeworld and is willing to help me with some research, email me at roguewing25@yahoo.com and I'll let you know the details.

-We need more recruits. To this effect, I am offering a bounty of an ISM on any NEW recruit you get onto the Immortal. They will have to transfer from the Reserves, or from the Daedalus Platform. (DO NOT SPAM DAEDALUS!) I would suggest hanging out in the Zone in the XWA and XvT rooms....

Ship News

-Last week's report of two Ranger pilots running naked is believed to be linked to CPT Loors somewhat odd belief in a personal cloaking device....

-The wooly gundark that was mentioned last week has been identified as MAJ Mosh's personal pet. He has lost it somewhere in the vicinity of Deck 10. He has stated that there is no cause for alarm as the gundark is fairly mild.

-Security acting on "unspecified sources" has authorized all personel on Deck 10 to carry sidearms. Also, they have issued an alert stating that all bedroom doors should be locked at all times and that everyone should walk around with a partner.

Competitions

-ECR phase 2 results should be out before Friday. All BG Flag officers will recieve some information in the next day or so on Phase 3 which will entail an XWA mission and a TIE mission. We will be working out the scoring method over the weekend.

-The Top Gun competition will be continued this month. Basically, the pilot that wins the most MP matches will recieve an IS-SW. The runner-up will recieve an IS-BW. Also, you don't have to wait until official EH comps for this. You can set up your own quick skirmishes while on IRC and I will count those as well, as long as you send me the results of the win.

-The Immortal Tactical Scenario has been sent out. It is due Monday. If you need to refresh your memories on the rules, it is posted on the Immortal MB. :p
