And the new WC is... The new Wing Commander of the Intrepid is Lieutenant Colonel Apophis Kuma. "AK" is an experienced officer and he went from CM to LC as Cobra Squadron Commander. I've full trust on him and I an sure he will be a good successor to Malidir. As you can see from the roster, I've decided to close Cobra squadron because there were only two pilots left after Apophis' transfer. Colonel Plif has joined Copperhead squadron as Flight 2 Leader and CPT Hunterwolf has been assigned to a FM position in Viper squadron New Pilot Everyone give a warm welcome to Myn Donos, the newest pilot in our roster! Myn joined Asp squadron, which is finally up to 6 pilots, and he has been promoted to Lieutenant already by completing the XvT Tactics course with a very good score, congratulations! Rank Promotion More good news in Asp squadron, Lieutenant Gara Petothel has been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander thanks to her continued good MP activity during the past two months. Way to go! Intrepid MP Ladder I'm really disappointed by the outcome of this month's MP training because only 6 FW duels have been played! Well, it seems like most of you don't like plain 1vs1 or 2vs2 melees so I'm starting to work on a new MP competition involving Co-Op and a bit of RPG. Expect more news as soon as I figured out some details and MP hardcore pilots don't have to worry because I will continue to run Training ladders every month. Weekly Medals Merit awards for the month of March have been awarded, I apologize for the delay but most of the MSE were late plus Malidir's sudden leave and a busy working week didn't help me to process the recommendations quickly. Anyway, the Imperial Security Medal has been awarded to CM S4patas, the Palpatine Crescent has been awarded to CPT Big Poppa K and the Bronze Star of the Empire has been awarded to CPT Tvan'Oris. Another Bronze Star has been awarded to LCM Nutrientman who is now in Wing XI to playtest the new EH game Imperial Alliance. Congratulations all of you! FW server downtime Two days ago the owner of the USA 24/7 FW server decided to shut the server down due to...excessive whining. Apparently some FW vets are trying to put up another server with the same rules and data so there's still a chance we won't be losing all our money and kills earned in the past months. In the meanwhile you can still play on other FW servers (my suggestion is to try the German one) or you may give a try to another SW mod for Freelancer: Tides of War. The Emperor's Hammer just opened a new squadron there. More info about ToW HERE. |

You can download it or view it online. New Tactical staff needed 21:10 - AD Frodo The Tactical Office is in need of new members for the TAC staff. I would like 3 new testers that are able to fly in each platform, as well as a new TCT for each platform. Requirements are as follows: Tactical Surveyor (beta tester): -Must own working versions of XvT, XWA and TIE -Must be willing to work, TAC staff isn't a joke job to make your ID line longer, it is serious work and it is rewarded heavily should you work well. -Proven flight activity -Passed IWATS TACS Tactician (Corrector): -Must own working versions of at least one of the above -Must have passed the IWATS mission creation course attached to the platform you plan on correcting for. -Proven Mission Creation Knowledge, therefore, you must have at least sent in more then 1 battle/mission to the TAC office. -Proven flight ability I'm tired of asking for new staff, so this is likely to be the last one in a long time.
