SC VII: final rush Deadline of Supremacy Competition is closing in so this is the time to become extremely active and spring up toward the victory! We must work as a team and everyone must do his part to win. I know that you may have busy real life but I'm also sure you may find 15-20 minutes of spare time you can use to complete some missions or fly a couple of multiplayer matches. See my last email about SC for more info and hints. New arrivals Two more Officers have joined Wing XIV, please give a warm welcome to Colonel Styles and Lieutenant Gara Petothel. Styles has joined Diamondback squadron which is now up to 11 members while Gara has been assigned to Asp squadron coming from Daedalus and she has been promoted to Lieutenant already, congratulations! Multiplayer Activity I'm pleased to see that MP activity is still good even if I do think there's still room for some improvement. The Intrepid achieved a very good result in the XWA ladder but there should be definitely a better participation to the Freeworlds and XvT ladders. I know there's quite a few of us who regularly play Freeworlds but I'm not seeing your names in the ladders, why? Anyway, congratulations to CM Xander Drax on winning XWA Week #3 ladder and getting another DFC medal and to COL Marcin Szydlowski for his 2nd place in the XvT ladder at only 3 points from the winner. Casino Imperial results Final results for the SCO-sponsered competition have been released. The Intrepid has been the best ASF ship even if we got only a 4th position but I don't think it's a bad result considering that we all are focused on SC. Truly yours got 2nd in XvT, XWA and fiction events and COL Mike got 3rd place in XvT. MSE update Thanks to all CMDRs for submitting their Monthly Squadron Evaluations, they will be processed ASAP. Please note that WC Mallidir and I decided to reccomend immediately only rank promotions while for merit awards we will wait the end of Supremacy Competition in order to request more important medals for everyone who has been active in this competition. The Unit Rewards have already been announced, but furthermore did we reward the participants from Praetorian Squadron with a Palpatine Crescent each for winning overall! Excellent work! ALL fiction will be submitted to the Newsletter so you can all read them as well. The medals have all been requested, those marked with DB ranks will receive them in the DB. Overall participation surpriced me pleasantly, I'll make an effort to run another similar competition in another few months - I hope that everyone who participated enjoyed themselves. :) Republic Commando demo is out 20:23 - SA Astatine As reported in the RO's report, there's a demo of Republic Commando out on the 3D Gamer's site. If you insist on getting it from there, I recommend trying the Bit Torrent download as I got fairly good speeds off it. Alternatively, you can get it directly off the TC server here.
