Wing Commander Resigns

Due to increasing RL demands on his time, Lieutenant Colonel Keller has decided to do the decent thing and step down as Wing Commander and take up a FM’s spot in Hawk Squadron.

I’m extremely sorry to see him go – Keller’s work was invaluable in getting this platform up and running and in keeping it going. I’d like to extend a big thank you to him on behalf of the ship for his efforts in the past several months.

In regards to a replacement WC, I haven’t yet come to any sort of a decision. Chances are I’ll open it up to applications, but if you are interested in the job, please let me know via email or IRC.

Uber Craft

The EH has received two extra uber fighters. Currently we have one Uber fighter and one Uber transport (Container) unassigned. If you’re interested in having one of these, please let me know ASAP. They’ll be assigned by Tuesday.

On a related those, those of you who already fly an uber fighter are encouraged to opt for the Chiss Claw Fighter (available at the ISD Lone Wolf). Let me know if you wish to swap from whatever it is you’re flying now.

Fleet Commander’s Honour Guard Points

I’ve spent the past week or two trying to get this finally sorted out. With the support of the COO and OPS, and having spoken to the TAC, I had thought we were on our way to getting this done, and an announcement made by either the TAC or OPS to confirm that they would be awarded (in some fashion) sooner rather than later. Just to remind you:

• 30 kills = 1 FCHG
• 1 Mission = 1 FCHG
• $400,000 given to the EH Warchest = 1 FCHG

I was informed today that the hold-up on this is due to the Fleet Commander thinking it over. I have no idea what this means but I’m sure the result that’s in the best interest of the Pilots will be met.

Any enquiries in this matter should be directed to either the TAC or OPS and not me since I’ve done all I can.

Legions of Combat

All outstanding TE LoCs should have been awarded by now. If you think you’re missing any, please let me know and I’ll sort it out.

Server News

Territorial Changes

The New Republic has returned to the Empire all of its bases in Bastion. In return, it was agreed that the Empire would not participate in the NR vs OC TE that took place last night (the result of that was ???).

In addition, for the return of the ICC Raven’s Claw, the Trade Federation was given the ISD Lone Wolf (given, not allowed to garrison).

Mandalorians

In case you haven’t been keeping up with the Judges’ forum, it looks like the Mandalorians will be reduced to a Minor Faction (like they should’ve been in the first place) until at least 1.66.

Server Activity

I’d like to ask all of you to pick up on your general activity on the server. While we have an extremely high presence during TEs, our general activity is not so good. This affects our standing with the rest of the community and our allocation of ubers (I want more! :P). Please try to fly as often as you can, even if it’s just 10mins grouping with some other Imps and beating on Jedi. It all counts.
