ALCON,

Welcome to the second VanCOM report by me, the great and wonderful COM. First off, I'd like to point out the exceptional work our WC is doing and all of the competitions that are ongoing. I would like to see an imporved participation rate amongst our pilots which is why the TC is fun, to participate in events get the top score and keep goign with your squadron. I myself have flow a battle a week and will continue to do so, even maybe flying in a MP event from time to time. Also the continual harassment by LC Stryker makes me consider finding and using this Free Worlds crap. :) THough we shall see. I hope everyone is having a good time, the real order of business now is to recruit people into the VAN so we do not become like some of the other ships in the TC>

Anyways that's all for now, please join me again for a rounding round of drinking and debauchery as time continues on the VAN's IRC channel. :)

Whats a TMD?

The Tactical Mission Designer!:

-The tactical mission designer (TMD) is a new TAC position.
-They will be required to build battles and missions, on demand!
-They will usually work with the plotline compendium.
-They are required to have Mission creation knowledge!
-And yes, they'll be allowed to do personal projects.

I hope that cleared up alot of questions about the TMD, now apply for the spot please! Previous applicants must re-apply due to a lack of applications, they all reseted.

[TO Competition] Ugly TO Reports

- So I was looking at my report... and then the Internet Office Report, and then the Chancellor Report. Frankly, I was jealous that they had such pretty report formats while I had a basic, tough on the eyes, u-g-l-y,… you get the picture.

- I need a HTML TO report template made, zipped and sent to to@emperorshammer.org by March 18th! Graphics may be used... minimally, tastefully and the must NOT contain text (ie. no individual topic banners), sections should be easily customizable and follow TO Report headings. A space MUST be included at the top for a TO banner.

- Winner receives IS-GR, second place IS-SR (awards downgraded 1 level if less than 5 participants)

TO REPORT #2 is out! My apologies for the email size!! This should be fixed once I have my new HTML format. PLEASE I need some entries soon... early entries (if used in my next report or two before comp closes) will be rewarded with an EXTRA IS-BR!!

From the wing there is good news and bad news. The bad news is we keep AWOL'ing pilots and we seem to be losing overall numbers. We're down to 30 squadron pilots. THough those that are left are active it may be time to contract the number of squadrons operating on the VAN, to a more manageable number. I'll be thinking and discussing that this week with higher.
