A new CPT For his high flying activity and for assisting his CMDR as Squadron XO, CM Hunterwolf of Cobra squadron has been promoted to the rank of Captain. Congratulations! Merit awards The Palpatine Crescent has been awarded to CM Michael Starburst, CM S 4patas, CPT Fox Malloy, LCM Darth Angelus and LT Nutrientman. The Imperial Security Medal has been awarded to CPT Hunterwolf and MAJ Spade. Note that a few medals are still pending. Other than that, CM Xander Drax received the Bronze Star of the Empire for his assistance to the Logistics Officer. Supremacy Competition VII Supremacy Competition starts in 5 days! This is the most important competition in the ASF and all the pilots of Wing XIV must consider SCVII as their primary objective, I want to see kickass activity from every squadron! And remember that participation to this competition is a great boost for a big shining medal and/or rank promotion. Xmas Bash I am really disappointed by the outcome of this competition, in fact I've received just one entry and that was from the Wing Commander. As mentioned in my previous report I won't postpone deadline so LC Malidir is the winner and he shall receive a IS-SR and IS-SW. XvT WoW Captain Fox Malloy has been the best ASF pilot at the December XvT Week of War and he has been rewarded with a shining IS-GW medal, plus he will receive a IS-SW for the Intrepid WoW Incentive. Reminder for all Wing XIV pilots: try to fly at least a couple of matches in every WoW, even if you lose you still gain some points and I will reward top 2 scorers in every WoW with IS-SW and IS-BW medals! CoL delayed Due to minos.net being offline the Operations Officer lost all of the CoL recommendations. For this reason the medals should be awarded on the 15th. AWOLs LT Jadesprite and LT Mjollnir have been declared AWOL after more than 30 days of inactivity. This leave Cobra squadron down to 4 pilots and Wing XIV is at 36 pilots again...recruit, recruit, recruit! |

| Minos.net Outage (And Change of OPS E-mail
Address) 23:19 - AD Alex Foley Earlier this week Minos.net (and all related services) went down. Turtle, as many of you know, is headed to Iraq to serve in the United States Army and will be gone for 18 months. I talked to his wife earlier today, and she thinks that most likely his server was unplugged. She's going to try and get it back online if she can. Unfortunately, since Turtle is out of the country, Minos probably is not a very reliable hosting service. If it comes back online, please back-up all of your files and try to find new hosting (/me pokes the new FC). Due to this outage, I have switched my e-mail address. To avoid spam, I'm not going to post it here, but the ops@emperorshammer.org redirect should now point to my new address. You can also log into the Tie Corps database to see it once it's been changed. Please update your address books accordingly if you've been using afoley@rawx.net.
