- Fix for SP2 and patches.
For the silly people that trust MS too much (and install everything by them w/o thinking) Den made a new 32 bit version of tiepatch.exe which fixes the problems with XP SP2 (and is ofcourse twice as big for the same effect... yay "progress"). Get it from http://www.minos.net/~sco/files/Tiepatch.zip Usage is simple: just replace the tiepatch.exe in the patches already with this one and for the rest everything stays the same as before.
Fill the gap competition
We have new competition coming, namely "Fill the Gap". You task is to create TIE-TC #43. Competition starts tomorrow and ends Dec. 31st. Send your submissions to me and my CA.

FW Update
Some important political updates for Freeworlders - our Allies & Hostiles list has been updated to reflect recent events:
• The following Factions are now hostile to us: Disac Pirates, Privateer Fleet, Black Sun (see below) and the Trade Federation.
• The TF were added because they repeatedly attacked our traders under the guise of "Commerce Raiding". Unacceptable.
• We have an Alliance with the Empire (pretty much the same as it was in 1.64).
• We have a non-aggression trade agreement between our traders and the Black Sun - This allows Wampa and Argosy Squadrons to trade in the Y'Toub & Kessel Systems, but they may not dock at Black Sun bases or trade in Spice. All other EH tags remain hostile. The cost for this is $15,000,000 per week payable by any Wampa, Argosy or EHC character to Barticus (assuming they have the money). Payment must be reported to myself and Keller immediately.
Also note that you may NOT have characters in two factions that are hostile to each other. This means if you have an EH tag and a TF tag, you must suspend one of these characters for as long as the hostilities continue. If you choose not to continue the EH character, then please stay out of #ISD_Predator for obvious reasons. If this effects you, please let me know.

- Tactical Manual v3.0
After years of waiting (sorry guys), we have finaly new Tactical Manual. Version 3.0 has everything included from TMDs to EHBL. Check out this link and download the offline.

- New Wing IX Commander Chosen
Wing IX, ISD Relentless has a new WC! Congrats to MAJ Rejili Holthaus on being named the new WC!

- Week of War
The Battlestats Weeks of War have lost the zone as their home. The Next WoW will be on holonet (irc.holonet.org room is #bsc-xwa or #bsc-xvt) HOWEVER Thanks to TRA Stresser, WoWs will be hosted at version 7.1 of XvT/XWA client By TRA_Stresser http://ccanuk.brinkster.net/xvt/redist.zip

- Training Office's URL
Since the to.minos.net redirection doesn't work, please use the new site to access IWATS courses and the Training Manual. I'll try to get a new redirection ASAP.
