Awful reporting week, but I think we're all excused because of Olympic fever. If you have a different excuse, or none at all, just go with it. A reminder to all pilots, don't drink and fly. Please.
==News from the Fleet==
The Tactical Office has released the 100th XvT - TC simulation, a creation of Fleet Admiral Ender mBind. Knowing his past work, you should check it out.
Please log in to the TIE Corps mainframe, there are some surveys to complete.
Congrats to RA Stuart on becoming the new commodore of the ISD Challenge.
The Tactical Officer wanted some SWGB testers, but has already got them.
==Competitions==
Summer Patrol and Sovereign Summer League and Downtime Simulator Showdown seem to be progressing. Slowly.
Mission Creation Wars is on again, time for all the pilots so inclined to design new simulations. Captain Joey and myself are the Grey Wolf entrants. We will get a move on soon.
==Activity==
"Freeworlds" activity continues nicely, and some pilots are rumoured to still fly for the Summer Patrol. Personally, I've participated in about 25 duels in Freeworlds in the last two weeks and even have two Rebel kills.
==Wing Commander's Office=
Crusader Squadron Commander is open to applications. Usual deal. Tell me why you'd be good at the job, what qualifications you have, and I'll choose from applicants at random. Can't be fairer than that.*
*edit. I will choose from applicants based on merit. Otherwise Gilad will roast me on an open fire.
I'm afraid I have several interesting competition ideas based around the Olympics... so look out.
Until then... rest lightly, tread carefully, speak cautiously. You never know what I'll have in store for you.
We have an IWATS comp on. To win (and its not hard at the moment) you just complete lots of IWATS courses.

P.S. Imperial Storm is coming up soon. We'll soon see if it's a total farce again. After it is completed, we'll see about getting a campaign for ourselves.
