Commendations of Loyalty

Here we go, the final list of Commendations of Loyalty. First, congratulations to all of those who earned CoLs this time around. It's one of the medals that is the hardest to earn and only comes around twice a year, so it is an accomplishment. Now for the usual things I have to say. First, you will notice many repeats of recommendations. If a Tie Corps pilot was recommended twice for a CoL from the Tie Corps, an Imperial Advisor, or a Command Officer, he will only receive one CoL on his profile. If a member was awarded a CoL from the Tie Corps and from the Dark Brotherhood, he will receive both. If a member was awarded a single CoL from a subgroup, it will not be placed on his Tie Corps profile, only on that subgroup's profile.
Freeworld: Territory Engagement

Another major Territory Engagement is scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday 8th Sept at 1830 EST / 2330 GMT. The Empire will be attacking multiple Hostile bases, including retaking the ISD Invincible. Details have been sent out to all FW Pilots.
The Emperor is counting on EH Pilots to accomplish our objectives, so we need a good showing again. If you need any help getting set-up, or with the rules for these sorts of engagements, please let me know (spellfire@btinternet.com).
In addition, Burnout has asked that all EH'ers move off the old [EH] tag by this Friday. The Imperial YT-2400 has been added to the Argosy Squadron shiplist. Again, email me to do this.

XVT and XWA WoW Champs!

For the first time in the history of our club, we have won both XVT and XWA WoWs in the same month! Huge contributions were made in XVT by Tek (Tau) and in XWA by Nom Anor (XIV). Both Tek and Nom won their respective WoWs which is also a first for EH Multiplayer gaming! Great work to all pilots who participated in this event. I will be awarding special awards for this first ever double WoW win!
SHIP/WING NEWS
Right, a decent chunk of news to deliver to you. Firstly, ImpStorm begins tonight. Expect several emails to beginarriving from Mell, fleet strategist and commander. He'll tell you all what to do, so dont worry. Flying is paramount, its the only way we can win.
Second, my probation is effectively up tomorrow. Therefore, by tomorrow you should know whether or not ive passed - if im still here then thats a good sign.
Our newest pilots have proven themselves more active than many of our older veterans, LT's Shanga and Bombarda are to be commended, as aremany of our pilots, taking the steps we require to keep the Rel at the top. Targaryen, Voort, Mosh and the others whose activity goes beyond flying and into fictions and banners. This week has seen a huge improvement, and im very proud.

The COM Cup is running, but only for CMDR's and the WC, so ignore that, you know who they are.

Wing activity remains very good, in terms of Hammer Squadron, and the Crossbow and Shield.The others are finally beginning to develop, withactivity increasing. Interest in my competitions has stimulated flying, making me very proud. STANDING ORDERS
By Order of Rear Admirall Thorin Oakenshield, all personel in Wing IX will read and obey these standing orders. Failure to abide by these orders may result in removal from your position, demotion, or being HCIed, depending on the nature of the offense. Any questions about these standing orders should be directed to the Wing Commander, MAJ Jarek La'an
-ALL MEMBERS-
Weekly Contact
At the very minimum, all members of the Wing will make contact with thier direct superior at least one time per week, VIA EMAIL. This is the very minimum to be considered active in Wing IX. If you intend to be off of the internet for more then (5) days, email your Commander and let him or her know as a common courtesy. If you are taking a Leave of Abscense more then ten (10) days, notify your Commander -AND- the Wing Commander via email.
-SQUADRON COMMANDERS-
Weekly Squadron Reports (WSRs)
WSEs will be submitted NLT 12.00PM each Thursday by email to the Wing Commander, Your Squadron, and the Wing IX Email List.
Monthly Squadron Evaluations (MSEs)
MSEs will be submitted to the Wing Commander NLT the fourth to last day of the month. I.E. if there are 31 days in the Month, your MSE will be submitted by midnight on the 27th. If there are 30 Days, the 26th, and so on.
AWOLs / MIAs / Reserve Requests
If you have found a pilot to be AWOL (no contact in 30 days), or MIA (bad email address), or a pilot has requested to go the reserves, you WILL NOT make the database request yourself. Forward the relevant information to the Wing Commander, who will verify the information, and make one last effort to 'save' the pilot before he or she is removed from the wing. This is NOT to take authority away from the CMDRs, but to allow the flags to ensure that a pilot really wants to leave. A good example is a pilot whos pissed off at his CMDR and has requested the reserves, when it's entirely possible the pilot would be happy in another squadron.
Flight Leaders
EVERY Flight Leader position in the Wing will ALWAYS be filled. If your Flight Leader leaves the squadron for whatever reason, you will appoint a new Flight Leader immediately. The Flight Office requires that all three flights have a leader in order for new pilots to be placed in that Squadron. We will not miss any opportunity for new pilots!
Designated XO
Every Squadron will have a designated XO. This person will know what he or she needs to do in the event that you are unable to come online, specifically in the area of filing a report for you.
CLOSING REMARKS
Performance is improving, competitions are looking good, im happy, the wing is happy, no-one cares if Thorin is happy :p. Seriously however, with ImpStorm starting in a few hours im looking forward to being able to proudly declare that were doing our bit for the fleet.
