NEWS:

~ Well, I’m the new WC (Yay! I can die in peace now! :P) and I need an update from some of you. All CMDRs and members of Ares Squadron respond to me about the squadron/personal status at (nurel_turr@yahoo.com).



***~ With my promotion, that leaves Aurora Squadron without a commander. Anyone interested in either Ares or Aurora should email Proton (hullbreach@gmail.com) and myself with plans for the squadron and why you feel you should have the job. Requirements are going to be the SM/3 to be taken with a passing grade. That course has a lot of different things that are very important for CMDR’s. I’d like to open this up for those in the wing first, then the open applications to the club at large, if no one from within applies.***



~ Week 8 baby! I’m in the home stretch! Now, if only I could get rid of my night classes so I can fly this week…now THAT would be great! :P



~ I’ve just about reached my 5-year anniversary, so party on dudes and dudettes! Free drinks! :P



~ I’m bad! I’m the man! Go Turry, go Turry! I got first place for Ast’s fiction portion of the XO competitions! I was awarded an IS-PL…so bow before the almighty god who takes the form of Nurel Turr! Tremble in my awesome presence…or not. I’ll be quiet now. :P



~ Speaking of awards, Both CM Sandor Clegane, LC Guthwulf, Proton, and myself have received the Commendation of Loyalty. Congratulations! Free drinks for the wing!

~ As the forwarded email you received the other day said, the Sov Battle of the month is going on, starting tomorrow. While most of us have not been very active lately, this IS important. Why? It’s important because the honor of the wing and your individual squadrons are at stake, as well as your personal honor. I know a few of you are unable to fly for various reasons but ask that if possible, try to get those reasons fixed and fly. Even if the score is bad (cause you had to use a mouse. :P), still fly. You have a full month to fly the battle, so try to do so, not for me but because you want to for your personal and wing glory!





ORDERS:

~ CMDR’s get in contact with me ASAP. Same applies for those in Ares Squadron.



~Fly or prepare to fly for the Sov Battle of the month! This takes priority over Citation flying. Once you’ve flown the Sov battle at least once, then go back to your normal flying schedule. **Oh, btw, you might be able to use the SBotM for citations. :P**



~ Recruit! Hello and I were talking the other night and we noticed that many wings are going or getting down in strength. Recruit! ‘Tis very important for the life of the club!
