Welcome to the first every Wing XVI Report. So without further ado...

Announcements

The ISD Predator is up and Running

Well, here we are after almost 3 months of work, we have the test bed for Freeworlds up and running. The Commanders are nearly all appointed, the pilots are ready to go, the flight deck is clear and it Pri is at the helm. And Pri is at the WHAT? I thought we promoted him to let him get away from Ships. Anyway, thats the end of my tasteless humour (Too much time around those crazy Grey Wolfers). But yes, everything is go.

Commanders have been selected

If you haven't noticed, all the commanders have been appointed expect Rancor CMDR, who should be appointed shortly (We are just waiting on transfer approval). Thank you to all who applied, I recieved quite a flood of emails for a huge bunch of capable commanders. But at the end of the day, only 6 could be chosen. Well done to the new Wing XVI Commanders.

Wing News

- We're up and running. Yea!!

- Pilot Count: 20 Clones, 3 Non clones, 1 WC and a partridge in a pear tree.

TIE Corps News

- New WC and COm for the Relentless, Well done RA Thorin and MAJ Laan.

Emperor's Hammer News

- SCO awarded Imperial Cross for being awesome. Congrats.

- Lots and lots, the wing is filling up, which is good to see.

From the Desk of the Wing Commander of Wing XVI

Well, that's that. I was thinking of putting an inspiring speach or something here, but I decided against it. Why? Primarily I don't think you guys need it. I have an excellent buch of extremely active and competent pilots and a great command staff, what more could a WC want. I hope that the report format will improve shortly, but I have found that being a WC is quite a lot of work, so its on the to do list, which at the moment is quite large. Anyway, enough rambling, I have more work to do.
