WING COMMANDER'S CORNER

Exellent week activity wise this week. 716 missions flown in the month up too the 30th. Welcome aboard LT Athen and CM Rokin and goodbye to CM Mach Blader who leaves Pi CMDR for the RSV's. 1st round of the CSL ends results are in this report if you missed gunmans email and round 2 begins fly TIE-FREE 5. A early lead goes to Eta well done boys.

WING VIII NEWS

- Design a trophy GFX competition ends, results will be sent out shortly after this report.

- SoM/PoM also ends for the month of August, as with the Design a trophy competition results will come out shortly after this report.

- Welcome aboard LT Athen and CM Rokin

- Goodbye to MAJ Ace, CPT Talas and LT Matt

- SoTw is Eta. PoTw is LC Angel and runner up is Andrel, IS-SW and IS-BW are on there way.

- First round of the CSL Nitro ends, with Eta first place.

- Round 2 of the CSL Nitro begins fly TIE-FREE 5 by next Sunday.. I want to see better participation

- 716 missions so far this month, thats almost 300 more than last month. Good work.

- Congrats to LCM Mel Aani S'ger who is given FL 2 in Iota.

- Pi CMDR CM Mach Blader resigns. Good luck in the RSV's..

- MSE's due for the 2nd.. Scuslem and Mach still need to get them in.

- Aero Slashers retirement is processed and he leaves for the RSV's.

- There are a number of free FL spots ATM, if you are a FM and want one. please email me and I'll talk to your CMDR's and see what can be done.

with 2 days to go Nu steal hold a 26 point lead! Its a sprint to the finish now.. Pi are almost certain to take the wooden spoon but a Nu team effort looks to have won them the SoM. Iota look favourites to finish 3rd with a decent week this week.

Andrel leads by 2 missions! yes 2 missions... There is a sprint for first in the PoM too.. 3rd place is EVEN closer with Scuslem and Kadon tied on 40 missions. 6th and 7th place impress this week, as Rinuchu Stealth and Daniel Russel help Nu in a team effort. but there is still time for everything to change.


CSL nitro edition results round 1.

Here are the results from round 1. Angel showed that he has something to say about Scuslem's supremacy in the last league. All squadrons failed to get more than two pilots flying. Pi Squadron continues its quest...

Well, if this was one round of the ECR, we would be in big trouble right now, wouldn't we? I heard the Relentless has one full active squadron, so watch out. I hope this is just a result of a few leaves and computer problems, and that the newcomers Athen and Rokin bring some more life to this competition. Once again, if you have any problems, just let me know.
Ok, as announced yesterday, the mission for the next round of this competition is TIE-Free 5. Deadline is the 5th of September. This mission is for everyone to fly it except the members of Nu Squadron

Nu :
Good week again this week, It was a bit of a one man squadron earlier this month but Daniel Russel and Rinuchu Stealth step up and make it a team effort. Looking likely to win the SoM you'll have to check the results which come out later.

Pi :
CM Mach Blader resigns, maybe a new CMDR will save them from the wooden spoon next month as well.

Omicron :
CPT Scuslem flies for CSL and extra as Omicron look to take 4th in the SoM and start will in trying to retain their CSL title.

Iota :
LCM Mel Aani S'ger is given FL2 and Iota are likely to take 3rd in the SoM and take a good 11 points from the CSL good work.

Eta :
1st in the CSL and 2nd in the SoM, and with 10 pilots.. its a fight between them and Nu for the SoM. check the results to find out who wins.

Wing activity - Good, lotsa of flying for the SoM/PoM but not enough for the CSL. 716 missions so far this month nearly 300 up on last month and i'm sure thats the most missions in a month for a TCBG ship this month. Great work!
