Wing XIV weekly report #22 - 02/14/2004

- WING NEWS-
Hello pilots of the Intrepid! Today we are at midway to the ASF Supremacy Competition deadline and this means you have two more weeks to be active, to participate in as many SC events as you can and to give me a good reason to recommend a shining Bronze Star of the Empire for you at the end of the month! Don't forget that other than flying custom battles or multiplayer melees, you can get many points by the other events like Graphics, IWATS, Fiction, Trivia, Mission Design etc. Official rules and a complete description of all SC events can be downloaded HERE, read the submission guidelines and make sure to follow them when sending your entries. Please note that BGCOM Darksaber is still on leave and VA Frodo is A-BGCOM, he will take care of SC scores as long as Darksaber is away. I will keep to collect the ISD Intrepid scores so be sure to CC me on every entry you submit, even MP activity because the database doesn't notify names of pilots who lost matches. That's it for SC. Now, I wish to announce that two new pilots have recently joined our Wing: please welcome CM Brenn Tantor, assigned to Asp squadron, and SL Ryke, assigned to Copperhead squadron. I'm sure you will have good stay here on the good old Intrepid and if you have any questions or doubt don't hesitate to contact your Squadron Commander or myself! Medals for January MSE have been recommended but they are still to be reviewed by the OPS. Also, a little bird told me there could be a couple of rank promotions coming soon, keep your eyes peeled and get ready to party :-) Then I wish to inform you that tomorrow there will be a Battlestats sponsored XWA 2vs2 Tournament hosted at the Zone. To sign up and play in the Tournament you must find a wingman and register HERE. LoCs will be awarded for all wins so you can earn many points for the Supremacy Competition while you help the Emperor's Hammer win the tournament. That is all for now.
