Wing XIV weekly report #21 - 02/08/2004

- WING NEWS-
Greetings everyone! The sixth edition of ASF Supremacy Competition is on and our performance has been quite good so far even if there is still a lot of room to improve the overall activity level of the Wing. There are many events you may participate on and I am more than willing to recommend special awards for those of you who will be the most active in SC. The official rules and current standings are available at: http://www.asf.stardestroyer.org/sc. Please read rules carefully before to submit, you don't want your entries to be ignored, do you? This week two pilots joined Krayt squadron coming from Reserves, please give a warm welcome to CM Aresis Lothorekith (new Flight 2 Leader) and LT Rollo Tomassi. Welcome aboard guys! During the past days 43 LoCs and 2 DFCs were awarded to pilots of Wing XIV, that's a great performance and I'm very happy to finally see some good Multiplayer activity, keep up the good work! Also, congratulations to CPT Tvan'Oris on his double Bronze Star of the Empire for the Cover and Image of the Month of NL #95 and #96. CM Apophis Kuma has received another Medal of Instruction and a Medal of Tactics - Green Hammer for the creation of BoP-Free #29, well done Commander! The number of IWATS courses passed is steady but I hope it is going to increase because you get 4 points for every single IWATS course passed. The link to the Academic Nexus is: http://to.minos.net/. Krayt Squadron have took back the title of WC's Own after they have been the best Multiplayer squadron of the Wing during January. I noticed that I didn't mention (but I think it was quite obvious) that the WC's Own for the month of February will be awarded to the squadron that will get the best results in Supremacy Competition. The "Beat the COM's Protector" competition has been won by Major CrimsonFury, runner up is LCM Hunterwolf. Congratulations both of you. On other news, Admiral Proton has announced that a new edition of the Sovereign Squadrons League will start soon. If SSL begins when SC is over I'll be glad to see all Wing XIV squadrons involved, especially Diamondback because they won the XvT part and did very well in TIE and XWA too (hehe, guess why I know :P). Anyway, SC is our primary objective and if SSL starts in February we will have to ignore it. One last thingy, medals for January MSE have been recommended and should hit our showcases as soon as the OPS process them. That is all for this report.
