-A number of arrivals this week! First off congrats to the newly-promoted LT Mason Selrood, who joined Iota Squad this week and had one hell of a start. Also, please join me in giving a huge welcome to an old-school Colossus pilot, CM Kalve Ryder, who joins Eta Squadron! Great to have you guys as additions. Let's keep it up, eh? :)
-Due to real life commitments, CM Quincy Nelson has had to step down from Pi CMDR. For that reason, I am now accepting applications for Pi CMDR from any and all members. All applications should be sent to myself and RA Sephiroth. I'd like to choose someone from inside the Colossus if possible, so if you're intrested in the position, please send me an application!
-This week our isdcolossus domain went down to a number of reasons, with the fault lying on our server. While we hope to have a new domain up soon, for now all of those who have isdcolossus email addys must find a new server.
-Our Nu CMDR, MAJ Aidan Pryde, has a new email address at aidanpryde@shaw.ca. Please update address books accordingly.
-MSE medal requests have gone out! Hopefully we'll see a few awards pouring in soon :) Keep up the activity though guys and I promise there'll be several ships full of shiny stuff at the end of the month :)
Pilot of the Week - Each week I'll choose one pilot from Wing VIII who I believe has performed the best out of all the other candidates. Each weekly winner will then be thrown into the running to earn the title of WC's Protectorate. The winner who becomes the Protectorate will win a IS-SW, while all other PotWs will win a IS-BW

The Colossus Photo Contest – Wouldn’t it be nice if we’re getting faces to all the names of our wing-mates? Well, after we’re imperial pilots, of course it should be faces of imperial pilots. Now here’s the deal: Either you dress up in a Star Wars costume and make a photo, or you manipulate a photo to get it TIE Corps-related or you simply draw a picture of how your imperial alter-ego looks like. Just free you spirit and create something cool.
Your submissions should be in an average photo-proportion, so either 1 : 1,33 or 1,33 : 1 (each width : height). Also you should keep in mind that it has to look good as a thumbnail. All your submissions have to go directly to MAJ Kayle Bayron (Iota - kai.boecher@sbg.at) WITHOUT ccing your CMDR. They will get informed about your efforts by me. That is because they and the Flaggies will be the judges of our little MISTER/MISS COLOSSUS Contest, as well as they should bring in their photos, too, of course. I've set up a sample-page, so that you can get a clue, how those pics should/can look like.
There will be chosen a winner of each Squadron who will win an IS-BR and after that there will be chosen a wing-wide winner, the Mister or Miss Colossus, who will receive an IS-SR, additionally to the received honour.
-Colonel Brian, CMDR of Omicron Squadron, was promoted to General this week. Congrats to him!
-OPS Officer Alex Foley and our SO Sithspawn were promoted to the rank of Admiral this week! Also of noticable mention was a GoE, which was awarded to Supreme Director Mordann this week as well.
