MAJ Sarn Erec reporting in for Wing IX on 02/23/2004

Ok Gents, here it finally is…my first report as Wing Commander.
Excuse the lateness please, right after I returned from my Emergency leave my PC crashed again and I ended up in buying a new one today…at least that works now. Now CM Lanidet Tobri has PC Problems and took an Emergency leave…yes Powerslave…I start to believe, too that Rel Command Positions are somehow cursed :P

Fleet News

The FO is on leave until 2/28/04, VA Reaper is in charge until then, don’t include the FO in your reports until then.

Congrats to Commander Lanidet Tobri on his recent appointment to Sword Squadron CMDR.

Medals

I was awarded a Palpatine Crescent :P
MAJ Tiger and LCM Fox both were awarded the Imperial Secuity Medal.
MAJ Powerslave got an IS-BR.
CM Quincy Nelson received an IS-SR.
And CM Lanidet Tobri got an IS-BR.

Some of you might have noticed that myself, your COM and your BGCOM had some “issues” with OPS this week, OPS hates me now and won’t process my Uniform any more…*me goes and cries. :P
There will be more Medals following…that’s for sure…even if OPS thinks that the OPS Manual doesn’t apply to him.

The WCs Corner

I’ll post some thoughts here every week It won’t be too much for now since I was away some days but I still have something to say :P
I have some concerns about activity, there are some people in the Wing flying but that’s not enough. You don’t need to necessarily fly, you can also submit GFX, Fiction etc. to the NLs, take IWATS, but please do something. The SSL is going to start in March and until then I want to have our Squads ready for the biggest challenge there is in the Tiecorps…a Fleet-wide Squadron League. So get started, be active, recruit new people and practise flying, we will show everybody out there what Wing IX can do!
