Wing I Weekly Report # 7

TC News: A lot of happenings in the fleet this week, I've listed the
most important below;

- The COO website has been updated, be sure to take a look :-)
http://coo.emperorshammer.net

- The EH Newsletter (No 106) has been released, and it's a rather
nifty piece of work. Take a look here
http://media.ehtiecorps.org/files/nl/nl106/ or download it from here
http://media.ehtiecorps.org/files/nl/nl106.zip

- The TCBGCOM, BubbaX has been promoted to full Admiral. Congrats to him.

- The new Flight Office website is now located here
http://flightoffice.ehnet.org

- We have a new Internet Office website, take a look here http://ehnet.org

- The Flight Office has released a new competition, details can be
found here http://www.ehtiecorps.org/competitions/details.asp?ID=1913

- Wing XIV has a new Wing Commander. Congratulations to LC Apophis Kuma.

- The COO website now has a new ladder system!
http://coo.emperorshammer.net/ladder/ And a new login system called
EHLS http://coo.emperorshammer.net/ehls/ Big thanks go to Reblet for
creating these.

Local News

There is much awesome being produced out of the wing at the moment,
and a few people deserve a specific mention.

- CM Kahooli flew 5 battles and a free mission this week, very nice.
- LC Gyssler churned out 13 battles. Yep, thirteen. Wow :)
- LT Neale flew a battle, and backed it up with a 100% in the IWATS
WPN Course, and a 95% in the TIE Tactics Course. Top stuff!
- LT Tirna Q'jira scored 99% in her IWATS SM/3 test. Very, very impressive :)
- LCM J'lek Arcanos has been awarded an IS-BW for coming first in the
XWA division of the Pi Monthly Battle Challenge!

= Awesome.

My Activity

- Emailed website ace Wolly again this week, asking to 'borrow' his
website template/style from here http://emperorshammer.de I think it's
awesome, let me know what you think of it.
- Contacted two cadets this week, no response.
- No CMDR BSFs. Um, huh? :P
- Decided on how to solve the Gutterball award crisis. As previously
reported, Hunter, Zirus and Cozar all recorded perfect scores. As a
result, I've had to decide the winners based on who submitted first.
1. LT Hunter (Beta) IS-SR
2. LT James Zirus (Epsilon) IS-BR
3. LT Valdimore Cozar (Epsilon) no dice :-(
Apologies to Cozar, all of my future competitions of that nature will
include a first come, first serve condition. All medals for this comp
have been recc'ed, expect them soon.
- Very active over IM.

Competitions

Imperial Storm!

Everyone says it's coming soon, and there are definately signs of
activity and progress over at the War Office site. Unfortunately, I
don't have a date for you, since the WO is scoping out potential
mission creators for the skirmishes. :)

Wing I v Wing 8

Communication over this one has dropped right off. I'm going to try
and get the ball rolling again. It is possible that if Imperial Storm
happens soon, we might have to hold this competition off until after
the wargames, as under our current format, it will take a month to
complete.

I'm also tossing a few ideas around, I might try something different
this week with the mailing list.

Summary

Nothing too dramatic this week, keep your eyes open for new comps, and
kudos to Firzam on his nifty competition idea :-)

Yours in Service,
