Medal Recommendations Requested

From ISP/HA Priyum Patel:

As part of a project for the Operations Office, I am currently collecting information related to the awarding of the Grand Order of the Emperor, Order of the Renegade, Imperial Cross and the Medal of Honour merit medals. I'm looking for things like recommendations themselves, dates, etc - particularly those dating from before the 2000. Wing News
Another slow week

Well not really slow, but a little slower. Biggest news was the closure of Dagger and Spear Squadrons. The remaining personnel from those Squadrons went to Hammer. We also lost someone this week. La'ans brother went to the reserves. Lots of medals were awarded this week though, and next week will see an insane number of medals being awarded from April competitions. In this report, I'll also announce the winners from all the comps from last month and announce the new ones.

Pilot of the Month/Squadron of the Month

From reading past reports, it is pretty easy to see who is the Pilot of the Month. It is none other then LC Tiger. Well done Tiger! An IS-SW is on its way to you. Shield was also the Squadron of the Month so LC Tiger and MAJ Powerslave both recieve an IS-BW.

Wing IX Trivia

I was extremely happy with the amount of participation in this comp. 7 As soon as this report has been sent, the next installment of this competition will have been uploaded. The winner is ... it's a tie! MAJ Powerslave and CM Jarek La'an are the winners, both getting a perfect 10 out of 10. IS-SRs are on the way. Second place, and an IS-BR goes too ... LC Tiger with 9/10. Another medal, Tiger. :)

Trido's find IX a new Banner

2 submissions for this comp. Both were pretty good. That means you'll both get a medal, but what colour? The winner is (And it is included at the top of this report) MAJ Mosh! IS-SR is on the way. MAJ Archangel, an IS-BR is on its way to you.

Final Thoughts
Our numbers are down, but except for Jonas La'an, the rest were dead weight who didn't do anything. So we haven't really lost anything. We do need to continue our recruiting though. I don't want to see the Rel or IX closed like the Imm and IX. It would be a very sad day. The level of activity being exhibited by all of us though does inspire me to think that we will be around for a fair bit longer yet. Especially if we can get some more new blood like LT Sirion.

This is quite simple. Each CMDR of Wing IX can enter this competition. To win, simply fly the most missions in the month, submitting the BSF's to myself as normal. LoC's and DFC's will NOT count in this. Competition ends at the end of the month.

Participate in "Wing IX Recruitment Drive"
Wing IX needs members! Get out there and post on mbs, email Reserves and cadets, do anything you can (As long as you don't break any rules) to recruit new members for Wing IX. We are the TCBGs flagship and we should have the most members. Each new recruit MUST submit one BSF (Either a Battle or Free Mission) to me before they are counted.) Winner will get an IS-SR. Second gets an IS-BR. Competition ends on the 31st of May.

Participate in "Wing IX Uber Flying Activity Competition"
I want IX to get off to a great start! As such, I will hold this massive flying competition. There are 2 categories to it. A) The person who gains the most FCHG (Includes battles, free missions, LoC's and DFC's) points in the month the competition runs will earn an IS-SW. Second place will win a IS-SW. B) The person who completes the most missions (Includes Battles and Free Missions) will earn an IS-SW. Second place will earn an IS-BR. NOTE: If you place in one categories, you cannot win a medal in another. IS-SW to the winner of each division and an IS-BW to second place. Competition ends on the 31st of May.
