Lieutenant Colonel Ky Terrak reporting in for the first report of the new year for Wing IX on 1/3/2004

Introduction
This report is going to cover the last 2 weeks since I didnt send one last week
Well its the begining of a new year. I am very proud of all of you for the work that you put forth last year and cant wait to see what you all have in store for me this year. I know that we will have some trying times but with the help of all of you we WILL come out on top. The main priority for the next couple of weeks/months is going to be recruiting. I know that we are currently the biggest wing in the TCBG but that doesnt matter unless are members are also active. We have several pilots that havent been seen from in a while and I would like to start fixing this problem. Commanders, you guys have full control over your Squad. If you dont have a Flight Leader spot filled or the person that is in the spot isnt doing their job then replace them. Get FLs that are going to help you guys with your squads. We all need to be working together to create the strongest and most enjoyable wing in the Fleet.

Tie Corps News
- The Main thing that needs to be addressed is CoLs.

Each squadron commander can send any number of recommendations for awards to their respective Wing Commander. The Wing Commander chooses three (3) awards. Then these recommendations are forwarded up the chain of command to the respective Commodores and Battlegroup Commanders, making any possible corrections. Then the Battlegroup Commander collects the recommendations for his Battlegroup, and emails them to the Operations Officer, CC'ing the Flight Officer. Also, each Battlegroup Commander has the discretion to award a maximum of three (3) awards to his Flag Officers.
--- So Commanders send me your requests ASAP. Make sure that you list reasons. Oh and this is seperate from MSEs

- Really isnt alot to report on besides the CoLs
- Commanders you are responsible for making sure that all of your pilots have signed up on the mailing list now.
- If you feel that you should be on the list and were not invited please send me an email letting me know

- Wing IX's Montly Trivia
--- Every week in the WWR I will put 10 questions. The same 10 for a whole month. At the end of the month the pilot to answer the most question right will receive an IS-SR. Second place will receive an IS-BR. in the event of a tie there will be a "tiebreaker" question for those pilots. One question at a day untill there is only one pilot left or for one week which ever comes first. LT Ron L. Hubba was the only one who participated this past month. Come on Commanders where you at?
