| - The FO's deadline for
squad/wing/ship websites to be up-to-date is today. It's been interesting
to observe the last-minute rush to get those sites up.. hopefully all
the guilty parties have fixed everything that needed fixing and we'll
suffer no humiliating removals :S

| - The Internet Office has
released an easily modified, fully functional squadron website template
which can be downloaded at http://squadfirst.minos.net.
For those people who want to make a site for their flight or squad, but
don't possess the skills necessary, this is an excellent thing for you to
look into. It may also help those who want to learn better skills, by
opening it up and seeing how everything works.

| - February COM's Judgment
wrapped up yesterday, and we're still waiting on the results from AD
Tiger. Will Wing XVIII's path of victory advance another month? Wait and
see!

| - The new SSD Avenger site is
up at http://ssdavenger.minos.net.
A big thanks to our own MAJ Karim, the "Grey Man", for his work
on the site. Oh and by the way, I didn't choose the quote Karim put on my
profile, but I am a huge Blake fan so it worked out ok :)

| Another rather disappointing
week with a dismal 19 BSFs going through from XVIII. Just because you
can't get the big medals for FCHG advancement anymore, don't stop flying. The FCHG
rank in itself should be reward enough, as should playing an entertaining,
challenging mission or two every now and then. If you're just here for a
couple of letters tacked onto your made-up persona's ID line, and a few
more pixels on your uniform, what are you doing?! People who keep up activity will be rewarded by other means than point systems, I can assure you. |
