Our numbers are beginning to slip a bit boys and girls. We must stop this bleeding before its to late. I ask everybody to hit the recruits hard this next week and pull in some new people to plug the holes.

                               Fleet News
1.   The Battle Center went down temporarily but it is now back up and running. All members must now login to the DB first to access the BC.
2.   Some WC Resignations this week. LC Tissaya Argat has stepped down as Wing XIV's WC and Major Frodo March of Wing V.
3.  Congratulations to Major Frey Gallandro, the new WC of Wing X.
4.  Wing V on the Sov is now open for applications. If you are interested check out the TC news page for requirements and contacts.
5.  Congratulations to Major Phantom the new WC of Wing XIV.
6. The MSN Gaming Zone has intentions of taking out the XWA and XVT combat rooms. A petition has been put together to stop this as it would mean the end of the WoW's. GO sign this petition today: Zone Petition 
7.  All changes needing to made to the EH message boards of any type should now be directed to Aiden K at io@absolutek.ca.
 
              
    Vanguard standing orders
Standing Order #1: (RL) Real Life first!
Of course the first and foremost thing is RL. It is highly recommended to take all RL matters first and before all ship functions, unless you just don't care. I would like to enforce this order to all members. But please be reminded that you should inform your superiors of any situation so that we can count you on LOA, and don't forget to mark your profile stating your on Leave. Even if your only going to be on leave for 2 days, please mark your absence. This way if it takes longer than we know where you are and won't count you as MIA/AWOL.

Standing Order #2: Reports
I expect a Squadron report every week from every Commander on Friday unless I am told in advance of a RL situation that prevents you from sending one in on time but I do expect it when you return from leave.  This will get you removed from command immediately.  They must also be uploaded to the database.

Standing Order #3: AWOL's
All AWOL requests must be approved by the WC and the COM before sending them in to the FO.  This is not to resurp your command it is to give us the chance of emailing the pilots personally to try and find out their situations and give them one last chance to get back to active status.

                         COMPETITIONS
FCHG COMPETITION
The Pilot gaining the most FCHG Points during the month of March will receive an IS-SW and the runner up will get a IS-BW.

VANGUARD JOUST
Our Mp competition with points being awarded as follows:
10 POINTS---DFC
05 POINTS---PER WIN
03 POINTS---PER LOSS
01 POINTS---EACH COMPETITION PARTICIPATED IN
The one with the most points receives an IS-SW and the runner up gets an IS-BW.

RECRUITMENT COMPEITION
The Pilot assisting and aiding in the placement of the most recruits(cadets or reservists) during the month will receive an IS-SR and the runner up will receive an IS-BR.

FICITON COMPEITION
This will be our fiction competition.  Write as many peices of fiction you care to and submit them to me.  I will compile them all at the end of the month and submit them for the NL.  Myself and COM Sickman will judge the winners.  The winner receives an IS-SR and the runner up an IS-BR.

FLIGHT WARS
This competition has been approved.  Round one starts Monday and will run approximately 5 weeks.  All members of the winning flight will receive IS-SW's and the runner ups will receive IS-BW.
