General Information
Ahoy Wing Number 5, this week brings us some bad news, as we lost 3 pilots and the AWOL Check is complete, so that means more AWOLed gentlemen to come.
Speaking of the AWOL check, I’d like all the CMDRs to send me a small report on who is active and who is not so that we can decide who leaves and who stays. CMDRs will be mailed on the subject, you should already have the message in your mail when you read this;)
For those of you who didn’t respond, keep in mind that you probably have a last chance for a few days, but I wouldn’t count on it that much as its going to be concluded very quickly.
With a new month comes a new comp! I have created another Wing V recruitment comp similar to the one we experienced in December/January, it will primarily consist of recruiting cadets from Deadelous, the pilot which recruits the most gets an IS-SR, second place wins an IS-BR. Please keep in mind that you cannot recruit from other squadrons, or directly ask a cadet to join your squadron.
Its been a while since I have written a long inspirational speech explaining that you should recruit more and fly, so I prepared one for you: Wing V, its been nearly 5 months since I took command of this wing, I believe that I’ve learned a lot and done a lot for you guys, have you? Do good to yourself and others, help out the wing with the recruitment efforts, got an Idea? Convey it to your CMDR, or me, you want to help out with recruiting? Try to recruit, tell us about your recruiting if you just can’t seem to get pilots to join the Wing, ask a more senior officer! We have plenty of experience on board this wing, and a lot of us are ready to help you by Mail, IRC, AIM, whatever! So you want to fly? But you can’t, can’t find the time? I can help with that, just put away 2 or 3 hours a week for flying, you can easily fly one battle, or a few free missions in 2 or 3 hours, hell I fly about 5 battles in 3 hours! I know you can do it, get off your chair and fly. If you can’t complete missions, contact me! I have flown over 300 battles, and created 11, I can help you with your flying trouble, its not trouble for me, I’m here to help you and I’m here to make sure you’re active. If you get stumped in a battle, call your old WC! I don’t have 1713 FCHG for nothing! I believe its time you guys took advantage of the people and resources our wing has to offer for you.
That was a doozy! If you had the choice between reading that again or flying a battle what would you choose:P Just be active guys;)
It looks like the wargame will resume its pace, AD Pel has contacted the War game staff and things will get back underway soon so that you guys can fly for it and help out the blue team! But for now just sit tight and participate at the SSL.
Speaking of the SSL! Round one has finished, congratulations to Mem Squadron, they beat everyone else in Wing V, Pe Squadron being second, I intend to see some more fight out of you guys for this comp, the other squadrons are trampling us. Well, not as much as I’m being trampled;P Your old WC here got dead last in the TIE Division Scoring!:P
With the Ending of SSL round one, round two has started, the files are TIE Free 216 (Updated version, it is attached to this report, and your CMDRs should have conveyed it to you already, but just in case) XvT Free 125, and XWA Free 94, get locked, cocked and ready to rock people!
