Wing News
I have several new competitions approved and you will find them listed below. They will run for the period of March 1- March 30. Already the competition will tough because of some great work this week by many pilots.
Remember Cmdr's that your WSRs are due on Friday. I do allow lateness for good reason but only if you check with me prior to taking a leave. 2 weeks no report gets you an automatic removal in my book.
The Vanguards numbers are again on the rise. I appreciate your hard work and dedication to keep the Vanguard on top with the most pilots in the fleet but lets dont stop now. Full roster is not far away and that would be a tremendous acheivement.
Fleet News
1. The ASF and the fleet as a whole have lost some members due to the commitments to their countries. VA Sarin has requested and been sent to the reserves. The BGs lost RA Autoris Maximus. These are two big loses for the TC right now but you boys hurry back safely, our prayers are with you all.
2. The TAC has released some more things for you to do. TieTC 203 and 204 and XwaFree mission 95.
3. The Sov Squadron league is about to get underway once again so if you think your squadron has what it takes to be the best I encourage you to check it out.
4. Congratulations go out to RA Khadgar who returns to his old seat as the GW COM and to his new WC Major Archon. Congrats to both!!
5. Our very own COM Sickman has finally made it to VA. Rumor has it there will be a big party in his honor but dont worry, hes definitely buying so do plan to attend.

Vanguard standing orders
Standing Order #1: (RL) Real Life first!
Of course the first and foremost thing is RL. It is highly recommended to take all RL matters first and before all ship functions, unless you just don't care. I would like to enforce this order to all members. But please be reminded that you should inform your superiors of any situation so that we can count you on LOA, and don't forget to mark your profile stating your on Leave. Even if your only going to be on leave for 2 days, please mark your absence. This way if it takes longer than we know where you are and won't count you as MIA/AWOL.
Standing Order #2: Reports
I expect a Squadron report every week from every Commander on Friday unless I am told in advance of a RL situation that prevents you from sending one in on time but I do expect it when you return from leave. This will get you removed from command immediately. They must also be uploaded to the database.
COMPETITIONS
FCHG COMPETITION
The Pilot gaining the most FCHG Points during the month of March will receive an IS-SW and the runner up will get a IS-BW.
VANGUARD JOUST
Our Mp competition with points being awarded as follows:
10 POINTS---DFC
05 POINTS---PER WIN
03 POINTS---PER LOSS
01 POINTS---EACH COMPETITION PARTICIPATED IN
The one with the most points receives an IS-SW and the runner up gets an IS-BW.
IWATS COMPEITION
The Pilot completing and passing the most IWATS courses during the month of March will receive an IS-SR and the runner up wins an IS-BR.
FICITON COMPEITION
This will be our fiction competition. Write as many peices of fiction you care to and submit them to me. I will compile them all at the end of the month and submit them for the NL. Myself and COM Sickman will judge the winners. The winner receives an IS-SR and the runner up an IS-BR.
