                              Wing News
Well things are looking up for the wing lately with the addition of many new faces. I still would like everyone to focus on recruiting and see if we can get our numbers up to 60 by the end of April if not sooner. It only takes a minute to email a cadet so I encourage each of you to give it a shot. Remember you get a medal for it(MoI) and it helps your squad, so get busy!!

I have a new competition coming up as im sure some of you have noticed being brocast in the #Isdvanguard IRC topic. I dont wanna release alot of information about it yet but it will start around the last week in May and will last about 5 weeks. Its called Flight Wars and as you can guess it will be a flight vs flight competition. More details to come in the next few weeks.

My comps are almost over but you still have time to make up ground, especially in the fiction arena as i have no submissions yet. Yes you read that right 0. So its an easy IS-SR for somebody if you want it.

                  Vanguard standing orders
Standing Order #1: (RL) Real Life first!
Of course the first and foremost thing is RL. It is highly recommended to take all RL matters first and before all ship functions, unless you just don't care. I would like to enforce this order to all members. But please be reminded that you should inform your superiors of any situation so that we can count you on LOA, and don't forget to mark your profile stating your on Leave. Even if your only going to be on leave for 2 days, please mark your absence. This way if it takes longer than we know where you are and won't count you as MIA/AWOL.

Standing Order #2: Reports
I expect a Squadron report every week from every Commander on Friday unless I am told in advance of a RL situation that prevents you from sending one in on time but I do expect it when you return from leave.  This will get you removed from command immediately.  They must also be uploaded to the database.

                         COMPETITIONS
FCHG COMPETITION
The Pilot gaining the most FCHG Points during the month of March will receive an IS-SW and the runner up will get a IS-BW.

VANGUARD JOUST
Our Mp competition with points being awarded as follows:
10 POINTS---DFC
05 POINTS---PER WIN
03 POINTS---PER LOSS
01 POINTS---EACH COMPETITION PARTICIPATED IN
The one with the most points receives an IS-SW and the runner up gets an IS-BW.

IWATS COMPEITION
The Pilot completing and passing the most IWATS courses during the month of March will receive an IS-SR and the runner up wins an IS-BR.

FICITON COMPEITION
This will be our fiction competition.  Write as many peices of fiction you care to and submit them to me.  I will compile them all at the end of the month and submit them for the NL.  Myself and COM Sickman will judge the winners.  The winner receives an IS-SR and the runner up an IS-BR.
