                              Wing News
Well one more week in the life on the Vanguard, and life is good.  We are up to 58 total pilots aboard including one full squadron in Echo. We are now 2 pilots away from our goal of 60 so lets go guys. Pick up the pace and bombard the boards as we continue to dominant the Corp in total members.

Round one of Flight Wars is over. Congratulations to Python 2 and Scorpion 1 who advance to round 2. Heres how the added up:

We welcome in two more pilots to the Vanguard this week.  Welcome aboard SL Pi Stryker and SL Julius Malafides. I assure you guys more are on the way soon enough so lets help fill our ship up.
           
  
                               Fleet News
1.   There is a new Competition(Nick by Razors) where we can play. You can find the information in the Combat Calendar and on the BSC Website. If you got questions please mail Kyle Katarn.

3.  There will be a new MP comp which has its maiden sendoff tomorrow April 19th. I encourage all of Wing XV personell to show up and give it a whirl.
4.  TCC:Xvt is open for applications. If you are interested please check the latest TAC report for requirements which can be found on the TC main page report section.
5.  Two BGCOM's of the fleet have been promoted. One is our very own Darksaber and the other is Krax Tarnisar. Congratulations to both on their promotions to Admiral. Well deserved!!

8. The Battle Center is currently down for security measures if any of you have been wondering so be patient, order will be restored soon.

                  Vanguard standing orders
Standing Order #1: (RL) Real Life first!
Of course the first and foremost thing is RL. It is highly recommended to take all RL matters first and before all ship functions, unless you just don't care. I would like to enforce this order to all members. But please be reminded that you should inform your superiors of any situation so that we can count you on LOA, and don't forget to mark your profile stating your on Leave. Even if your only going to be on leave for 2 days, please mark your absence. This way if it takes longer than we know where you are and won't count you as MIA/AWOL.

Standing Order #2: Reports
I expect a Squadron report every week from every Commander on Friday unless I am told in advance of a RL situation that prevents you from sending one in on time but I do expect it when you return from leave.  This will get you removed from command immediately.  They must also be uploaded to the database.

Standing Order #3: AWOL's
All AWOL requests must be approved by the WC and the COM before sending them in to the FO.  This is not to resurp your command it is to give us the chance of emailing the pilots personally to try and find out their situations and give them one last chance to get back to active status.

                         COMPETITIONS
FCHG COMPETITION
The Pilot gaining the most FCHG Points during the month of March will receive an IS-SW and the runner up will get a IS-BW.

VANGUARD JOUST
Our Mp competition with points being awarded as follows:
10 POINTS---DFC
05 POINTS---PER WIN
03 POINTS---PER LOSS
01 POINTS---EACH COMPETITION PARTICIPATED IN
The one with the most points receives an IS-SW and the runner up gets an IS-BW.

RECRUITMENT COMPEITION
The Pilot assisting and aiding in the placement of the most recruits(cadets or reservists) during the month will receive an IS-SR and the runner up will receive an IS-BR.

FICITON COMPEITION
This will be our fiction competition.  Write as many peices of fiction you care to and submit them to me.  I will compile them all at the end of the month and submit them for the NL.  Myself and COM Sickman will judge the winners.  The winner receives an IS-SR and the runner up an IS-BR.

FLIGHT WARS
This competition has been approved.  Round one starts Monday and will run approximately 5 weeks.  All members of the winning flight will receive IS-SW's and the runner ups will receive IS-BW.
