Wing III WC Open To Applications

Applications are now being accepted for the Wing III WC position. The application period is open through to Sunday May 25th. Mail apps to Admiral Proton . The requirements for the position are:

Must have held the position of CMDR in the TC for no less than four months in one tour.
Must have passed either SM/II or SM/III
Be able to reply to emails and process BSFs within 48 hours
Report on time each week without fail
Must be willing to handle significant amounts of admin in the course of running the Wing
Be able to motivate pilots and keep CMDRs working towards improving their Squadrons and performance
Must be able to create and run various competitions for the Wing
Applicants must be 100% dedicated to the Wing and see goals achieved to the end
No serious HCI convictions within the last 12 months. This includes 407 violations
A keen sense of duty and loyalty to the Sovereign and commitment to participation in the activities of the Brotherhood of Sov Flag Officers
Strict adherence to the Fleet Standing Orders and Sovereign policies
Be sure to add you future plans for the Wing and what steps you would take to encourage recruitment, activity and the general upkeep of the Wing. As always, flakes, cheats, resume-padders and mental loons need not apply.

Fly the Top Gun Mission... That's TIE-FREE #220 (for those who didn't see it last time I wrote it like a few lines up)

The Colossus awards may also be seeing a return soon, with an Iron Star being awarded to those with the best graphic or fiction for the month. For those newer pilots who have never heard of these Colossus service awards, I'll explain it. All you have to do is create a graphic or write a fiction, submit it to your CMDR, me and Indaro. Indaro and I will mark it and then whoever we deem to have created the best will be awarded an IS-SR at the end of the month. This helps those pilots who don't or can't fly to keep active and still be rewarded with something at the end of the month. Also mission creation will be rewarded in the future via the tactical mind award.

For the future we are considering basing the awards on run-ons, where the best posters will receive the awards and the graphics could based on what is happening in the fictional run-on. This idea is still in it's infancy.
