                              Wing News
We welcome two more new pilots to the wing. Give a warm welcome to SL Steel and SL Mahoon who join us from the Daedalus. We also give a farewell to LC Jason Hunter who goes to the reserves. Good luck Hunter, you served us well.

Activity is still a bit low but that was to be expected. Now that June is about to start, Id like to see us pick it up a notch and focus on recruiting as usual. We will eventually make our goal if we all keep working hard.


                                            Fleet News
1.  Congratulations to COL Frodo March who assumes the helm of the ISD Intrepid as her new COM.
2.  Congratulations also to COL Thorn who takes over as the WC of Wing III.
3.  The Elite Omega Commander, COL Sasquatch who has been promoted to the rank of General.
4.  Major Hunter of Falcon Squadron has reached quite a milestone. He attains the 3,000 FCHG mark. Way to go!!

                   Vanguard standing orders
Standing Order #1: (RL) Real Life first!
Of course the first and foremost thing is RL. It is highly recommended to take all RL matters first and before all ship functions, unless you just don't care. I would like to enforce this order to all members. But please be reminded that you should inform your superiors of any situation so that we can count you on LOA, and don't forget to mark your profile stating your on Leave. Even if your only going to be on leave for 2 days, please mark your absence. This way if it takes longer than we know where you are and won't count you as MIA/AWOL.

Standing Order #2: Reports
I expect a Squadron report every week from every Commander on Friday  and Squadron MSE's are due on the 1st unless I am told in advance of a RL situation that prevents you from sending one in on time but I do expect it when you return from leave.  This will get you removed from command immediately.  They must also be uploaded to the database.

Standing Order #3: AWOL's
All AWOL requests must be approved by the WC and the COM before sending them in to the FO.  This is not to resurp your command it is to give us the chance of emailing the pilots personally to try and find out their situations and give them one last chance to get back to active status.

                         COMPETITIONS
FCHG COMPETITION
The Pilot gaining the most FCHG Points during the month of March will receive an IS-SW and the runner up will get a IS-BW.

VANGUARD JOUST
Our Mp competition with points being awarded as follows:
10 POINTS---DFC
05 POINTS---PER WIN
03 POINTS---PER LOSS
01 POINTS---EACH COMPETITION PARTICIPATED IN
The one with the most points receives an IS-SW and the runner up gets an IS-BW.

RECRUITMENT COMPEITION
The Pilot assisting and aiding in the placement of the most recruits(cadets or reservists) during the month will receive an IS-SR and the runner up will receive an IS-BR.
