Wing IX Weekly Report - 06/06/2003
Major Cray Mikalen Reporting:

Welcome to my first wing report. The first two weeks of my tenure as WC have been very interesting, at least to me, and I hope things continue to go well. Unfortunately, our numbers have dropped to 22 this week, tying us for smallest wing in the Fleet. I am working to make recruitment my primary focus right now. I also have a couple wing wide competitions in the works. Details on these will be released as soon as I have everything put together and approved by the COM. I appreciate the hard work you all have put in the past couple weeks, especially in beating Wing III in our wing vs wing comp. I hope next week will be twice as nice. Anyways, on to the report.


Wing News:
--Major Cray Mikalen has been appointed Wing Commander of Wing IX.

--Sword Squadron wins Wing Commander's Own for May, 2003!

--Wing numbers down to 22. New focus for the wing is recruitment! Everyone needs to do their part.

--RA Kalar has ordered that ship-wide meetings be held again. We will meet every Sunday at 1500 EST, 2000 GMT, in #ISD_Relentless.

--Wing IX defeats Wing III!!! Great job to everyone who flew for the competition, and especially to Shield Squadron who took 2nd place in all 3 categories.

Competitions and Events:
--There are currently no wing competitions going on, however plans for several are in the works, including a multiplayer comp and a recruitment comp. I'm accepting ideas for these two competitions, so if you think you have a neat idea, just fire it off to ytsejam27@attbi.com. Those who contribute good ideas will be rewarded for their efforts.
