Okay everybody. It's you're favourite Lieutenant here standing in for the WC presenting you with a Wing III report. Sorry for being a bit late.

NEWS:

-- If you don't already know. LCM Pokemaster and CM Zekk Thyne are now the commanders of Aleth Squadron and Daleth Squadron respectively (Don't know how to spell that). Congrats you two, and good luck, especially to Zekk, whom Zeth Durron sent 17 missions to on Zekk's first day.

-- Ground Challenge still going. Once I get ADSL in here I can give you all a run for your money.

-- Couple of WSR's missing in action. Hurry up and get writing!

Training Office & IWATS Vacancies

There are several vacancies within the Training Office and the Imperial Weapons and Tactics School that are to be filled shortly. Details can be found below.

Training Office Assistant (TOA) Open for Applications

Due to the reluctant removal of Major Taralis from the position of Training Office Assistant, the position is once again open for applications. The successful applicant will be duly considered for elevation to the position of Command Attaché in the future. The requirements are:

a.. An active member of the Emperor's Hammer.
b.. Holding at least the rank of Commander (or equivalent).
c.. No serious HCI convictions within the last 12 months.
d.. A high-level of online activity (IRC, Fast e-mail turnaround).
e.. Above average talent & experience in creating/managing websites (HTML).
f.. Excellent grasp of the English language.
g.. [Optional - Desired] Knowledge of ASP.
h.. [Optional - Desired] Knowledge of PHP.

Graphics (GFX) Professor Open for Applications

The requirements are:

a.. An active member of the Emperor's Hammer holding the rank of Lieutenant (or equivalent) or above.
b.. Extensive experience in the creation and manipulation of graphical imagery (preferably with modern versions of both Jasc Paint Shop Pro and Adobe PhotoShop)
c.. Be able to grade exam submissions within 24 hours.
d.. Keeping Graduate Counts (total and per month).
e.. Maintaining/updating the Course Notes (basic HTML knowledge necessary; or a good WYSIWYG editor).

Eggdrop (BOT) Professor Open for Applications

The requirements are:

a.. An active member of the Emperor's Hammer holding the rank of Lieutenant (or equivalent) or above.
b.. Extensive experience in the installation, management and programming of Eggdrop 'bots'.
c.. Be able to grade exam submissions within 24 hours.
d.. Keeping Graduate Counts (total and per month).
e.. Maintaining/updating the Course Notes (basic HTML knowledge necessary; or a good WYSIWYG editor).

Internet Office Report #100 - Milestone Edition!

The Milestone edition of the IO Report - #100!!! (For the week ending July 18, 2003). This marks the beginning of a celebration for the Internet Office, 100 weeks as being the Internet Officer. This report contains a recap of the IO's history and it's plans for the future. Definitely something that you don't want to miss - an insight into a famous Command Staff office!

Congratulations to my entire staff who have helped us make it to this momentous occasion! Now let's party!!!

Wing XI Wing Commander

The position of Wing XI WC on the ISD Immortal is now open to applications. Those wishing to apply should be able to meet the following requirements:

a.. At least FOUR months experience as a Squadron Commander in the TIE Corps
b.. No HCI convictions in the past 12 months
c.. Familiarity with the online and offline aspects of X-Wing: Alliance
d.. Be able to handle large amounts of email and admin within a short amount of time in an efficient manner
e.. Be able to organise competitions / activity within the Wing and motivate those under your command
f.. Be able to work in a mature attitude with all levels of command in the TIE Corps
g.. Demonstrate that you have the drive and motivation to take command of a Wing and ensure it's growth and success
You may include up to 2 references from current or former superiors (get their permission first!). Applications should be sent to Admiral Krax and Vice Admiral RogueWing with the subject "Wing XI WC" by Sunday 20th July.

EHNet status

Just so you know, we are aware of some problems of EHNet-hosted sites, including the main site, Sabacc Online, Code Archive, Squirrelmail, My EHNet, among others. We at the Internet Office are working as fast as we can to resolve the problem. MinosNIC services are NOT affected (thankfully). The Greeting Card Center and Newsletter Archive are not affected. We hope to resume EHNet service shortly.

Parallax War is about to start

Parallax War is starting today at 2:00 pm EST. Cause the EH is way bigger then TRA or FES, EH vs. EH matches are allowd! Please join #parallax in undernet. Standard WoW Rules apply, the scores are reported to DarkFyre. The war is held till 31st July!
