Wing Status -
The Short form of the Standing Orders for Wing V.
1. Your primary duty is to have fun, be it flying, creating art, or fiction.
2. I require that you maintain email contact.
3. I desire that a minimum of ONE free mission a month on any platform be flown. Commanders it would be good if you are MORE active than that.
4. I will not ask of you anything that I would not ask of myself....so no suicide missions, unless I go too.
Recruit!! We are the smallest wing on the Sovereign and in danger of losing at least one other pilot. I don’t care if you have to recruit your mother or your father, or even your brother’s spider monkey (provided the brother answers its email). I’m looking into some likely possibilities on the Phoenix, but don’t hold your breath. AND REMEMBER you can offer your assistance to cadets on the Daedalus...but you can’t outright recruit them....suggest to them how helpful we are and how the wing commander likes to supply dancing girls to active pilots.

Star Wars Galaxies Report #1

For those who don't already know, the Emperor's Hammer has formed a Player Association on the Chilastra server in Star Wars Galaxies. Joining the PA is open to all members of the EH, and anyone else who wants to join. The only requirement (besides having a character on Chilastra, of course) is that you join the Fringe. You can do this using your existing EH e-mail address by e-mailing DCGM Darknyte at darknyte@alltel.net, or send him a /tell in-game to darkn'yte (note the apostrophe).
And now on with the report. The first two weeks of the game have moved slowly as almost everyone is learning how to actually play the game. I'm very much looking forward to the next few weeks as our members move past the basic Professions and into the Elite. New EH members are joining in all the time, and we've even recruited a few members from outside the EH. The best news so far is that we have recruited an Architect, and she is madly working on developing her skills so that we can actually build our PA hall in the next week or so.

Reminding, in conjunction with the SSL, AD Proton has commissioned a graphics competition for the creation of award emblems (or certificates, medallions, patches, posters, or whatever else captures the artist's fancy). August sees another round of Fleet Commander's Birthday awards.
The rules governing Commendations of Loyalty for TIE Corps
members remains the same:
Each squadron commander can send any number of recommendations
for awards to their respective Wing Commander. The Wing Commander
chooses three (3) awards. Then these recommendations are forwarded up
the chain of command to the respective Commodores and Battlegroup
Commanders, making any possible corrections. Then the Battlegroup
Commander collects the recommendations for his Battlegroup, and emails them to the Operations Officer, CC'ing the Flight Officer. Also, each Battlegroup Commander has the discretion to award a maximum of three (3)awards to his Flag Officers.
For elite squadrons (Avenger, Praetorian, Tau, and Omega), the commander can recommend up to one (1) award to their Battlegroup Commander (Omega - SovCOM; Avenger - ASF BGCOM), in the case of Praetorian and Tau Squadron,the CMDR will directly email the Operations Officer, also CC'ing the Flight Officer.
Do not forget to CC the relevant people are your recommendations will be denied!
