For the week ending 26 July 2003.
Wing Status -
An incident happened this week which was senseless and juvenile.
A promising pilot decided he was bored with the Emperor’s Hammer and the TIE Corps.
Instead of resigning from the TIE Corps and unsubscribing from his mailing lists, he decided it would be more fun to change his profile to reflect his attitude change.
Not only is this TREASON in the game that we are playing, it’s down right childish.
If you don’t want to play with us anymore, all you have to do is say so. Some of us take this club more seriously than others but I believe ALL of us are in this club for fun.
So, fellow Wing V’ers and members of the TIE Corps, please think before you jump into silly decisions both here and in real life. And commanders, please check your assigned pilots’ profiles every now and then to make sure the personnel records are straight.
Recruit!! We are the smallest wing on the Sovereign. I don’t care if you have to recruit your mother or your father, or even your brother’s spider monkey (provided the brother answers its email). I’m looking into some likely possibilities on the Phoenix, but don’t hold your breath.
AND REMEMBER you can offer your assistance to cadets on the Daedalus...but you can’t outright recruit them....suggest to them how helpful we are and how the wing commander likes to supply dancing girls to active pilots.
