Greetings Pilots of the Intrepid,

Another fine week has come to a close. The Intrepid Top Gun Ladder has ended, giving one lucky Squad the Wing Commander's Award. I will give out the details later in this report.

WING NEWS

- There will be a Wing meeting Sunday at 3:00 pm EST in #wingxiv. All are encouraged to attend.

- Week 8 of the SSL in underway. Let's get those Missions flown!

- WSR's are due to be on my desk no later than Friday, unless you have a good reason for being late. Let's work on getting your reports in on time.

Wing XX

The position of Wing XX WC is now open to applications with the following requirements:
 Must have held the position of Squadron Commander for no less than four months and hold the rank of Captain or higher
 Passed either SM/II or SM/III and be intimately familiar with all EH and TC regulations.
 No HCI convictions within the past 18 months.
 Be familiar with all three primary game platforms (TIE, XvT & XWA), single and multiplayer.
 Must be a member of good standing in the Dark Brotherhood (command position not necessary).
 Be able to deal with members at all levels, from the Flight Officer to Flight Members.
 Be able to constantly monitor and motivate all members of the Wing.
 Have plans for the long term activity of the Wing.
Applications must be received by Sunday 13th July and should be sent to Rear Admiral TK-2107 and Vice Admiral Khaen. The application should have the subject "Wing XX WC". Good luck if you choose to apply.

Email Woes

It seems several people, myself included, are still having a variety of problems with ehnet.org email accounts, whether it be sending emails or receiving. Please double check that your emails are getting through to recipients. The IO is aware of the problems and is working to resolve them soon.

Subjugator COM Selected

Following a successful stint as Wing XX Wing Commander, Lieutenant Colonel TK-2107 has been selected as the new ISD Subjugator Commodore and promoted to Rear Admiral. Congratulations!

This means that the WC position is now vacant. Applications will be accepted, but please wait for the requirements to be posted later today before sending anything.

Flight Office Banner Competition

Greetings folks. The Flight Office is in need of TWO new banners, one general banner for the front page and a second to replace the ageing link banner (aww). The main banner can be of any size (within reason) and the link banner should be ideally 400x50 pixels. Format must be gif, jpeg, psp or bmp and should be sent zipped to spellfire@btinternet.com by Sunday 6th July at the latest.
The creator of the winning entry of each banner type will receive an Iron Star w/ Gold Ribbon. An IS-SR will go to second, and an IS-BR will go to 3rd and 4th places.

It is important that we all start participating more in Wing Competitions. Another thing that needs working on is recruiting. We need to start filling in all the empty slots we have in the Wing. An option you may want to consider is offering help to some of the new recruits that are still on PLT Daedalus. By offering help, they may just request being assigned to Wing XIV. So, let's get going!
